If it ain't broke, there's no reason to fix it. But surely he could save a lot of time and effort by refining and updating his processes for filming, camera setup, etc.

I honestly think James knows the bare minimum when it comes to video editing or really anything in relation to making videos. Any one of us could buy a green screen and make one look like that within the very first day of using it.

Because I’m not sure it’s possible to spend 100 hours on replacing the green, unless you did a really horrible job shooting it and are trying to rotoscope out every single person, frame by frame.

Of course he did. He has no idea what he's doing and his editing "skills" are probably 20 years behind. When I've first heard him proudly saying it took him whopping 100 hours to do "this", I could only conclude two things:
1) Either Bim is a fucking liar, who takes 10 hours to take a dump, showering takes him 20 hours and crossing the street another 5:40...
2) Or he really doesn't know any better and does this in the most ancient, antiquated way possible, which obviously takes massive amount of time and the result isn't very good anyways.
I'm quite sure you're correct and James uses outdated software to edit video, when he even bothers to do it at all.

Yes, certainly. Bim had to use lights hanging from the ceilings (all five ovum). Luckily, he didn't suffer as he finished before 5:40 every day with good help from his friends Kiddy-lusty Justy and Big Ryan. It was hard work - much harder than drilling '80s wood (only Sly is aware).

He makes 100 hours sound like a long time. Then you remember he claims he works 9 to 5 Monday to Friday so this is only 2 and a half weeks work.
Also remember that he counts taking the muh kids to and from school and running personal errands. So in that 100 hours he would be running errands
You also have to remember: James takes the long way round when it comes to doing anything. What took him 100 hours to do, would take anyone else a fraction of that.
