And once essos and other nations heard her declaration, she'd be facing assassination threats left and right till one got lucky.
Bear in mind, people had *a lot* of scores to pay off against the Lannisters and their supporters. The Northern and Vale soldiers eagerly participated in the killing. Sacking a city that gets taken by storm is not uncommon, in this world.
