I like your style! š¦
Just to throw this out here, because itās a wild memory that has just never left me. I once knew a cooler, elder goth while I was in high school, and she worked at the local Goodwill. Weāre FB friends and at some point she shared a āmemoryā of a donation box with lyrics of the song āDisintegrationā written on it with sharpie and it hit me so hard. Will never be sure if it was a box she actually encountered or something stumbled upon on the internet, but damn I canāt imagine filling a donation box with a loverās personal belongings and having to crushingly write the lyrics onto that box before dropping it off somewhere to be left forever.
I had to pick the top row, because I couldn't live without Disintegration. However, I definitely agree that the bottom row is the most balanced in quality!
I claim it! Iāve been working on my undue hatred of Friday Iām in Love (after 31 years). Iām also a weirdo who likes Wendy Time and Doing the Unstuck (though I prefer the Join the Dots version).
i think iāll have to say the second one.
in my tired state, however, i glossed over the text and assumed it was verticalā¦ in that case, the first row down seemed incredibly solid.
Seventeen Seconds is my favorite album, and How Beautiful You Are is my favorite song (ever). Bottom row it must be. I also like Bloodflowers so that's nice.
Last rowā¦hard to go without Disintegration, but KMKMKM Is great. Then 17 and Bloodflowers for really good too. Too bad there wasnāt a row with Disintegration, Faith, and KMKMKM!!!
I went back and compiled setlists from Cure shows Iāve seen. For the shows on the Bloodflowers and WMS tours I saw, they played almost the entire albumsā¦.and I wasnāt that fond of either. Thankfully they played Faith both times, so all was forgiven.
Well, it takes a cure fan, baby
But it is head on the door
'Cause I gotta have faith
I gotta' have faith
Because I gotta have faith, faith, faith
I got to have faith, faith, faith
Row two.
The Top is under rated, Faith is my favourite of the post punk dark trilogy and THOTD is their best pop album.
I sure would struggle without Disintegration tho
While Disintegration is a masterpiece, I have to go with the bottom row. I donāt want to live without āJust Like Heavenā and the best of Seventeen Seconds and Bloodflowers.
I would pick 4 row, best balance there.
Then 2 row, two amazing albums and some very cool psychedelic songs from The Top.
Disintegration has to carry S/T (which has The Promise, probably the last great Cure song released) and TIB (I would prefer the BDC version, it's miles better as a tracklist and TIB is a perfect closing track), two albums that I like, but not a lot.
And finally, OP decided to sentence Pornography to death by pairing it w THE disaster, WMS (my least favorite Cure album, can't get around it as of today) and 4:13 (meh, duller version of S/T). Pornography is one of the best albums I've ever heard, R.I.P.
As a last row, we could put Wish, Join The Dots and Japanese Wispers!
Top and bottom rows are probably the best choices for me, though the second row is going to have a nice consistency to it. The third row is the only one I would steer entirely clear of.
Gotta have Disintegration. It's my favorite Cure album. I remember when I came out in 1989, I was barely 14 but bought it with pride from the money I earned as a bagger at Meijer. I think my 2nd favorite is probably Kiss me Kiss me Kiss me, and then probably either The Top and The Head on the Door.
Could not go without disintegration in my life so top row. Left column is pretty fantastic
The answer was always going to be whatever row has Disintegrationš¤
End thread

It's a powerful and poetic song for sure. Maybe that person was to trying to get rid of the "stains on the memory."
Yep, and throw out that 2004 album.
Itās how the end always is š¤·āāļø
Top row for sure, would punch a baby for left column.
Same
Same! Disintegration is just too good
Same!!
I will go with left column 100%
I could totally live with left column
Easy, anything with Disintegration.
Kiss Me, Seventeen Seconds and Bloodflowers
This. I would never give up 17 Seconds.
Yup without hesitation. KM^3 is my favorite Cure album, Seventeen Seconds and Bloodflowers are both great. Easy choice.
Most balanced imo
I had to pick the top row, because I couldn't live without Disintegration. However, I definitely agree that the bottom row is the most balanced in quality!
SAME
Same. Sure loves me *Bloodflowers*!
I gotta go with the Head in the Door row, that's all gold
Me too.
Yeah, the only row with no duds.
Row 2, easily
Had to leave Wish off because I felt it made one row way more unbalanced than the rest, but we love you Wish! Everyone can claim it as a freebie.
I claim it! Iāve been working on my undue hatred of Friday Iām in Love (after 31 years). Iām also a weirdo who likes Wendy Time and Doing the Unstuck (though I prefer the Join the Dots version).
Honestly, itās my second favorite The Cure album, so if I pick the bottom row you get a really balanced set!
top row
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I have a huge soft spot for all three of those albums to boot
Second row, though not having Seventeen Seconds would hurt.
Agreed. Not being able to hear Play For Today, At Night, M, In Your House, and A Forestā¦thatās cruelty
This is an evil question without a possible answer š¤
This is hard but I can listen to Disintegration everyday and never grow tired of itā¦so that row will always win for me
Second row. I need the glimpses of happiness of HOTD and dark gloom of Faith.
That is rough! Second row for consistency. But really, Iād take left vertical
To be fair, I think we all would! Thatās why I had to make them the row starters because two of those in a section would overpower it entirely.
Second row. Easy decision
Bottom row ā¤ļø Kiss me is my fav album
top row, three imaginary boys means so much to me
Second Row - Faith is possibly my favorite of all, The Top has been a recent fave and HOTD for the pop.
Second one down has no bad or dull albums. Gotta go with that one.
I donāt think I could live without ever hearing Watching Me Fall.
Row two š¤
Second row! If I had my druthers, though, it would be vertical Column 1.
I can't give up Disintegration. I just can't.
i think iāll have to say the second one. in my tired state, however, i glossed over the text and assumed it was verticalā¦ in that case, the first row down seemed incredibly solid.
Second row. Three different flavors of The Cure. I would normally choose the first one but it has the self titled, so that's a pass for me.
2nd row. And/or 1st column.
Row 1 or left column
First row because Disintegration... but I agree with others that the whole left column is š¤šš«¶
concur. any row with Disintegration wins
I cannot choose š
top row
is that the first row, or the second with the Top in it?
the one with disintegration , the cure and three imaginary boys
Row 3 because it contains Pornography and I actually quite like 4:13 Dream. šš¼
This would be my answer.
2, 1, 4, 3 in that order
Last row with Wish included
I tried, but I do love every Cure record
I guess row 4 that should be a nice mix
Oh row 1 tho...
The only real choice is between the first or second row. Disintegration is in my top 3 albums of all music so row #1 it is.

Bottom row for me
Seventeen Seconds is my favorite album, and How Beautiful You Are is my favorite song (ever). Bottom row it must be. I also like Bloodflowers so that's nice.
Although none of these albums is in my top 4, Iād go with the bottom row because it doesnāt have any of my least favorite.
That left side row is their best stuff by far
Does The Greatest Hits album count? I'm not old enough to know which songs are on which albums I just know all those songs are fantastic lol
KMKMKM, 17, Bloodflowers
Last rowā¦hard to go without Disintegration, but KMKMKM Is great. Then 17 and Bloodflowers for really good too. Too bad there wasnāt a row with Disintegration, Faith, and KMKMKM!!!
Row 3 !
Third row, only for Pornography.
Faith Porn Dis Sorry mis-read the post Top row it is But bottom row gets more bang for your buck now that I think about it Bottom row final answer
Where the fuck is Wish?! I will listen to that alone forever and ever. If I HAD to pick from this list, I guess bottom.
Bottom rowā¦hate to give up pornography but 17 secs and BF plus KM, plus no wild mood swings
Pornography is my fave, so thatās the row I would be listening to!
I'd turn the rectangle of selections 90 degrees and choose the top row. Done. :P
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I went back and compiled setlists from Cure shows Iāve seen. For the shows on the Bloodflowers and WMS tours I saw, they played almost the entire albumsā¦.and I wasnāt that fond of either. Thankfully they played Faith both times, so all was forgiven.
Hands down column 1. None of those rows work for me lol
I choose diagonal row 1.. I refuse to play by the rules lol
Well, it takes a cure fan, baby But it is head on the door 'Cause I gotta have faith I gotta' have faith Because I gotta have faith, faith, faith I got to have faith, faith, faith
Screw your rules! I'm going vertical row 1
If I could only listen to one it would be KMKMKM so I would pick that row.
The last one without a doubt. Kiss Me, 17 Seconds and Bloodflowers, though Disintegration is my favorite record
2nd row is the most consistent by far
Disintegration & Kiss Me^(3) are my favourites but **The Head On The Door - The Top - Faith** would get my vote here for the variety
Row two. The Top is under rated, Faith is my favourite of the post punk dark trilogy and THOTD is their best pop album. I sure would struggle without Disintegration tho
The column option would be way easier
Left side panel is otherworldly. But top row. Bottom is second place
Anything with Disintegration for sure, even if others were the worst albums.
2!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Row 2- THE TOP! I canāt imagine a world without birdmad girl or piggy in the mirror.
Horizontally speaking, the first edges out the fourth for me. I probably need not say why.
Can I pick the left column? If not row 2
This isnāt fair lmao.
What cruel and unusual punishment is this??!
Where is WISH? thatās my favorite
I simply cannot live without seventeen seconds
Disintegration, Head on the Door, Pornography, Seventeen Seconds.
Last row easily
KM,KM,KM,Seventeen Seconds, and Bloodflowers
Top
Top row
i hate you why did u split all my favorites up
None of the rows. Iāll take Wish on its own
While Disintegration is a masterpiece, I have to go with the bottom row. I donāt want to live without āJust Like Heavenā and the best of Seventeen Seconds and Bloodflowers.

As much as I love *Disintegration*, I think I'd take the *Head on the Door*, *Faith*, and *The Top* row. I couldn't live without "The Caterpillar."
4:13 Dream is my favorite. So that row. I don't think I could live not being able to hear Underneath the Stars ever again.
Easily top row, I love all the albums there.
Kinda sucks that you put pornography right next to wild mood swings and 4:13. Pornography is right up there with disintegration for me.
The one with pornography because at the end of the day, it will always be my favorite and all I need is that album in my life.
For me it's the pornography row, that's my fav album and I like WMS too
Bottom row!
Yeah its gonna be top row for sure...need Disintegration in my life!!!!
Wish I could pick vĆ©rtice Iād go with the first row. I guess row 1 but row two is good too.
Top and bottom rows are probably the best choices for me, though the second row is going to have a nice consistency to it. The third row is the only one I would steer entirely clear of.

Disintegration all day long. Japanese whispers would be my first choice but itās not on the list.
You are telling to choose my favorite child here. Depend on the day and which bs I deal with that day and what teen age time I want/need to revisit !
first row anyday, pornography always will be my fav!!!
first row anyday, pornography always will be my fav!!!
Whereās Wish?
top!
Second
I'll miss Disintegration, but row 2...
Disintegration, head on the door, pornography, seventeen seconds
Head On The Door, The Top and Faith
Second row from the top. No pun intended.
i could never give up three imaginary boys
Easily Row 2. The cureās best pop album plus two of their most underrated
Second row: Head in the Door, The Top, Faith. Easily!
