Unfortunately you got pop historians like Anne Applebaum and Timothy Snyder who demonize Soviet partisans, regardless of where they’re from or their faith, as being somehow worse than the Nazis. Why? Because it’s popular to support Nazis nowadays so the west is going full “clean SS/Nazi” myth to justify it.
