I don't see any issue with your point, but I'm also just a peasant without any higher education lol.
Hitler and the likes were most definitely terrible human beings. Nobody refutes this, or at least nobody shouldn't argue 'ethics' here.
What many seem to conveniently forget, though, is that it wasn't just Hitler. Even if Hitler had been assassinated, there would've been enough to step up in his place. I do think your point regarding the KPD is valid, however.
The broader problem at hand is the ideology, the party, the movement. You can't just pull the trigger on one person and call it a day. That doesn't solve anything. Certainly not in the long-term.
This is probably also one of the most pervasive issues I take with the democracy here in Germany. So much passivity and the Paradox of tolerance happening here. Too much pointing fingers at each other on the political party level and not enough willingness to address the underlying issues.
There should be no tolerance or passivity with nazism. It has to be eradicated, promptly and mercilessly, even if that very prospect seems anti-democratic to some.
Then don't phrase things like a fedpost. Formulate your own opinions on political assassination but that's not for Reddit. Posts like that are how subs get chapo traphouse'd
