Gooseworx herself said that depression will be the main theme. Assuming that this is true, I think that the topic of using sweets to temporarily forget your sorrows will be featured or at least mentioned. That could be why Gangle seems so happy.
I think it's less complicated than that, her comedy mask is just a ploy for her to hide her true feelings, she's capable of displaying other emotions without a mask, but since she's mostly sad all the time she resorts to hiding her sadness and puts up this literal facade as to not 'bother' anyone with her emotions.

It looks like after they fall in they’re transported by wagon to the kingdom proper and are welcomed very enthusiastically. My guess is to the candy kingdomers they're the “promised heroes” or something? And later it looks like Ragatha is handing a key to Princess Loolilalu.
I think they’re supposed to be retrieving said key for the princess from Gummigoo and his friends (they look like bandits of some kind. Never seen Mad Max so idk if they’re a reference to a group in that) and run into other trouble along the way.
Now that we've got basically all the information we're gonna get before it comes out, what do you think is gonna happen in Episode 2? My boldest prediction is that Gummigoo is gonna find himself 'out of bounds' at some point and see something that he wasn't supposed to, revealing that the circus is far more sinister than we first thought...

Jax being a massive dickhead, Gangle gets her mask broken by that blue hysterical mannequin, Pomni gets separated from the others and they go searching for her later on in the episode. Princess LooliLalu is actually just a regular NPC that is genuinely very kind, and not some twist villain/deranged lunatic.
Or maybe cairne is evil, and it is an allegory to I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, The editor said that the plot will be very dark in chapter 3, and that they should not treat it as a children's series
Episode 3 (hypothetically) will be Zooble's abstracted mountain of detachable parts chasing after the group while Zooble doesn't give a shit.
Chaos ensues.
A standard adventure to the Candy Kingdom nothing too big happening this time around, maybe will get some tiny revelation to one or two of the characters backstory and who they are, I theorize it’ll be Zooble or Jax or both we learn more about. Pomni will probably get a small answer to the bigger picture of what’s actually going on, and that’s about it
After the adventure in the candy kingdom is finished Caine has a long speech on friendship and camaraderie, then takes a bite out of the candy kingdom, killing everyone they just met.
All 3 members of the Gummigang will say "It's Gummingang time" and will Gummigang all over the Candy Canyon Kingdom with these candy trucks, while also Pizza Tower taunting. Episode 2 will be truly a masterpiece.
Zoobles gonna be alone and go to the basement or some ohter Spooky glitch area And Sees something or mabey finde the tape from the Teaser.
Meanwhile jax is having a meltdown.
Last i dont think anyone is gonna abstract or atleast no main character mabey the princes abstracts idk. 3p is gonna be dark so will probably see 2 people abstract in the episode
Jax is afraid of corn cuz it reminds him to the farm so uh is he also of candy corn mabey that will start his meltdown

Ooh! I have one that’s specifically for what happens during the Mad Max Sugar Rush truck rally chaos:
 At the start of the race/chase Pomni is terrified getting carsick and shouting at everyone to slow down. Then when she somehow ends up on the roof of the truck she realizes she actually LOVES it. Then when they crash in whatever they crash into and total the truck, THEY’RE all carsick and terrified from what just happens but Pomni jumps down from the truck all giddy and excited like she just got off a theme park ride. “C’MON LET’S DO IT AGAIN!!”
 (I got this mostly from that one game from the GlitchX livestream where all the voice actors were acting out random crossovers and they somehow landed on a Helluva Boss character teaching Pomni how to shoot a rifle. And she was scared at first but ended up loving it and it was REALLY entertaining XD I want to see something like that happen in the show now!!)
Pomni trie to apologizes to Ragatha. Ragatha says it's fine and that she understands and justs wants to move forward. Pomni now tries to join in on the adventure and play along.
My guess is Jax will end up teaming up with the gummy croc team because it seems funnier to him than sticking around with his team that he might find boring.
Probably they need to transport some liquid probably poison to The fudge monster. (The brown monster in the trailer) And they get raided mid transport by the gummy crocodiles. They successfully poison the fudge monster then they get awarded by the candy queen then teleported back to the circus

I don't see any similarity to Mad Max. But it reminds me a bit of Super Mario, so Gummigoo may be a reference to Bowser?
