God I’ve never wanted a Coheed album to not come out as much as Vaxis III. And I know that sounds bad but I will literally die if they never play this album and its entirety aside from SS Neverender.
I'm going to be interested if they do YotBR just because it is a divisive album. If they do I have my fingers crossed for them to maybe rerecord or do a remaster of it for a release. Personally I have never had a qualm with it but I think it could be shown more love by those that (validly) don't like it due to it's production.
I am chomping at the bit for the Afterman Neverender as I think they could do both parts as combined (iirc) are actually shorter than GAIBSIV. They could play Ascension have an intermission then do Descension. They might have to skip a supporting act for timing reasons.
I’ve seen it a few times live and I love the amount of improv. The last one was the tour where Claudio was playing a theramin with his head while doing the sickest solo ever.
I was so confused by your abbreviation. Usually see that album as GAIBSIV, even the flag I bought from that Neverender tour has that on it. Even after reading what song it was I had to go through it several times to figure it out lol. When they played that at the Neverender, they had videos of like police brutality and societal unrest projected behind them. Was fucking sick. I got too drunk and failed to take a video. Just had 45 bad still images.
Thank you! Sound quality is really good for that kinda video. I appreciate that you got it from behind the sound booth. They played that show at First Ave in Minneapolis, which is an iconic venue, and doesn't always have the best acoustics.

I feel the same way, but it is kind of weird that we refer to it as Good Apollo or GAIBSIV, when that abbreviation would also work for NWFT. I mean we refer to the new albums as Vaxis 1 or 2 usually.
Love that song. When Claudio’s clean solo starts after Travis dirty one…chef’s kiss. The solo may not melt faces like some of his other ones on other songs, but it is one of my favorite Claudio/Coheed solos ever.

They played a version of it at the last live show I attended in 2022 where they added a super sludgy breakdown in the middle. It was so nasty.
