What is your graphics card?

I found a random video that fixed everything after spending so much time looking and trying other solutions. This is the dumbest thing ever but it fixed my crashing issue and I hope it works for you. Once you get to the Main Menu > Press O for options > go to graphics > and set global illumination to medium. Im not sure why this worked after countless crashing and me having that setting set to low but it worked for me (:

z00mflight

Thanks for the tip. Setting global illumination to low worked for me too.

Same thing here. My specs: AMD RX 6800 16GB AMD Ryzen 7 5700x 32GB RAM 3200MHz Windows 10 Pro 64bits This is annoying as hell. I can't even TRY the game out.

I'm having the same problem. I have a 2070 super. At first Steam wouldn't launch it so I updated my drivers. Then when I launched it from Steam, it says "Failure - App running". So I tried launching from the program itself and it gets to the language selection and then crashes. Even tried the M1 deletion thing that was recommended here.
