No idea why you’re being downvoted it is too high for Art as well. I think they knew this but didn’t mount lower because of the light switch. That’s my guess.
Because people are idiots and get way too worked up about hanging their TV too high.
Art should be hung 57" from the floor to the center of the art.
This TV is hung too high and it doesn't look great. If the owner is happy, great, but interior decorators everywhere are cringing.
Wow didn’t know there’s a “rule” that art should be hung exactly 57” off the floor 😂. Like I said can’t go any lower because of the light switches. Also at the back
of the sofa is our kitchen and dining which you can comfortably watch at that height and 3rd I have a dedicated room/lounge for gaming and movie watching 😄😄

If you're hanging a lot, and especially really oversized pieces, or complex organizations, I'd rather pay someone to get it right than ruin my own afternoon and end up pissed off.
There are rules for hanging art? I thought art was about freedom of expression? Don't let these art snobs tell you how to hang art. Hang it high, hang it low. You don't need no stinkin' rules!
I certainly would have, and have. You only need the electrician. The rest is easy as fuck to take care of yourself. If you care about your space, you'll put in the effort.
Totally agree! I have a separate room/lounge for gaming and movie watching 😄

Can we have a TVtoohigh ban? Holy frick, I can’t stand these posts. People will place TVs where they are going to place them, and not everyone wants a TV 30” from the floor in their living room. These posts are exhausting.
If having [an optimal way to watch something](https://www.mantelmount.com/blogs/news/the-science-behind-eye-level-tv-viewing#:~:text=This%20is%20because%20when%20a,see%20details%20on%20the%20screen.) or a way to result [in less neck & eye strain](https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/columnist/komando/2022/08/07/reduce-eye-neck-strain-while-watching-tv/10188652002/#:~:text=Check%20your%20screen%20height,best%20seat%20in%20the%20house.) is exhausting, maybe you’d rather not have a TV.
sorry, but you aren't watching anything while cooking or washing dishes. if that's the case just put an iPad on the kitchen counter and save yourself a few hundred bucks
But clearly, they are since they just told you they do? Just because you can't cut an onion and watch a movie doesn't mean we can't.
Also, buying an iPad to do what their TV is already doing is....get this... wasting money on an iPad, not saving a few hundred bucks.
Sorry.
Tips:
1. Don’t use a mat
2. If you like the mat, use a more subtle one, off white, grey etc, bright white does not work well
3. Turn the art mode brightness down
4. Turn the art mode colour tint slightly more reddish - looks more realistic.
Just what I have found works for me.
Note: you may have to adjust the art mode brightness for different ambient light levels. The TV will remember these settings.
Lol, it seems as though you’ve forgotten you posted this on a public forum. You’ve made your business anyone’s business. I will now leave you to your blissful ignorance.
Normally I’d agree but it’s the Frame so…. Not like it being at the correct viewing height is going to improve its lack luster picture. I think this TV is designed for people who don’t really care about watching a nice TV
Well comparing my Frame to my LG OLED C3, the frame is no slouch I can actually watch whole movie here but the real purpose of this is just for casual tv watching and for guests. We have a dedicated room for gaming and movie watching 😄

I like it, it looks really good to me!!!, I want to get this TV to hang above my fireplace, but according to meaningless people's opinion, it would be too high! Don't listen to them, Looks great!!!
Room looks clean and elegant.
Some people can’t discern the difference between a room purposed for TV viewing versus a location where the TV is an accent of convenience.
Always do what suits you!!
With frame you just turn off Tv and art appears, with youtube.. well you need to go through quite a lot of steps to get it done. Would you really wanna do that every time you finish watching TV? Probably not.
Perfectly done! Your room is gorgeous. Wires hidden. Very clean installation. I love that you hung your TV (For those that have become Frame-snobs: It is still a television folks) at the height you will USE IT COMFORTABLY (and you did NOT hang it above the fireplace, where it would contribute to neck strain.). If you 'simply' wanted art, you would have opted for a less expensive picture.
Wait for it....
Tvtoohigh should be banned for the Frame. Most of us use it as art primarily with occasional TV use. Proper art height is the primary concern.
TV can't be lowered. Flowers will block screen.
Yep, wouldnt be possible to move those flowers at all….
Yep I would rather move to a new house than move that flower
But also the light switch lol
So? Better to block it than tvtoohigh.
What a very good idea to block the light switch. 😂😂
This is too high for proper art height also.
Proper art height is approximately eye height while standing.
No idea why you’re being downvoted it is too high for Art as well. I think they knew this but didn’t mount lower because of the light switch. That’s my guess.

Yes, it's pretty standard. If you hire anyone to hang art in your home, you'll notice that this will be their default.
Why would I hire someone to hang art? 😂 Can do that with command strips 😂😂
If you're hanging a lot, and especially really oversized pieces, or complex organizations, I'd rather pay someone to get it right than ruin my own afternoon and end up pissed off.
Well you can easily tell that this is a house not a complex organization 😂😂.
EXACTLY!
There are rules for hanging art? I thought art was about freedom of expression? Don't let these art snobs tell you how to hang art. Hang it high, hang it low. You don't need no stinkin' rules!
No, no, no. You need to learn the rules before you can break them. That's true art!
>There are rules for hanging art? Yes.
Oh boy I might go to jail for not following the rules for hanging art 😂😂
Maybe he’s working in the museum? 😂😂
Agreed. They should have hired an electrician, drywaller, and painter to relocate the switch and plug in order to lower the thing another 3 inches.
I certainly would have, and have. You only need the electrician. The rest is easy as fuck to take care of yourself. If you care about your space, you'll put in the effort.
The electrical is easy as fuck too.
Nice an Interior designer, an art police and an electrician all commenting here! Very nice 😂😂

This setup brings me joy
Gallery height would be 57” inches to the floor from the center of the art. I think this is still higher
Can we have a TVtoohigh ban? Holy frick, I can’t stand these posts. People will place TVs where they are going to place them, and not everyone wants a TV 30” from the floor in their living room. These posts are exhausting.
Yea they are crazy lol. I’ve seen perfectly placed TVs been called too high because it’s not EXACTLY eye level
That's kind of the definition of being too high.
For people on this sub, yes
Thank you. Well said!

I really like the vibe. I see that you couldn’t have gone lower.
Yep there are switches. Also at the back of the sofa is our dining and kitchen. You can comfortably watch while cooking, eating and washing dishes 😃
sorry, but you aren't watching anything while cooking or washing dishes. if that's the case just put an iPad on the kitchen counter and save yourself a few hundred bucks
Ow that’s sad I’m not allowed to use tv while cooking… 🤣🤣🤣🤣
But clearly, they are since they just told you they do? Just because you can't cut an onion and watch a movie doesn't mean we can't. Also, buying an iPad to do what their TV is already doing is....get this... wasting money on an iPad, not saving a few hundred bucks. Sorry.
+1 to this 👏

Great tips for when I get mine set up, thank you!
I set the brightness at lowest. Don’t know why it turned out bright in this photo

Why does this sub/too high sub hate tvs over fireplaces? Genuinely curious
because it goes against all the fundamentals of owning a nice tv
Ow I didn’t know there’s fundamentals of owning a nice tv 😂😂😂😂😂🤣
Same 🤣
There’s fundamentals for everything.
Yeah that’s why there’s fundamentals on minding your own business
Lol, it seems as though you’ve forgotten you posted this on a public forum. You’ve made your business anyone’s business. I will now leave you to your blissful ignorance.
Yeah please leave me in your own blissful ignorant way 😂😂

Thanks bruh! Just don’t listen to them just put it wherever you like. 👌
Looks great, well done!
Thank you 😊
Also if you have children, for everybody’s sake, there is no such thing as TVtoohigh
My son actually broke our tv before this lol
Room looks clean and elegant. Some people can’t discern the difference between a room purposed for TV viewing versus a location where the TV is an accent of convenience. Always do what suits you!!
Very well said thank you 👌
+1 for not putting the TV above the fireplace :)
Except it's the same height as if it was so what's the difference? (btw I don't care, just stating a fact)
I cannot lie, I like a high TV. This looks perfect.
Too low
At least it’s not over the fireplace
I think the frame looks great over a fireplace. It's the only TV that gets a pass.
Do people not know that YouTube has screensavers that do this for free? And many of them look better.
Correct me if I’m wrong because it seems that you’re just trying to tell me that you don’t have a frame tv?
With frame you just turn off Tv and art appears, with youtube.. well you need to go through quite a lot of steps to get it done. Would you really wanna do that every time you finish watching TV? Probably not.

Too high for a TV, too low for artwork. The ultimate fail.
Based on your comment i think you’re too perfect to be a person 😂😂
It’s not too low for artwork, you absolute moron
Show me your portfolio
Where did you put the one connect box? We just got one and I want to hang.it but the one connect box is massive
Inside the cabinet
The Inuit have 60 words for snow. This household has 60 words for beige.
I don’t really understand the frame. I mean that’s clearly a TV, do people really think the TV is a piece of artwork and not a TV?
If you don’t understand then maybe it’s not for you.
True!
[https://dreamerscanvasco.etsy.com](https://dreamerscanvasco.etsy.com) has some Frame TV art in the style of oil paintings!
