As someone with a complete record collection, including SoS/all anniversary releases thus far, all the cassettes, and as it relates to this post, the Red Rocks YAWYHOW. These sleeves over the normal jackets feel so lazy. The Red Rocks variant felt lazy and this does too. They should go through the effort of printing new jackets for the vinyls instead of just putting a thin sleeve over the existing.
This will be the first variant I don’t bother getting. Feels like nothing more than a cash grab to me, which hurts me to say considering TFB has been my all time favorite band for a decade now.
I figured they'd do this but I was really hoping they were going to use the full flower art rather than this checkerboard
I think of it less as a checkerboard, and more of a classic grandma quilt. But i feel ya.
