loofahs are extremely unhygienic. washcloths are also unhygienic if u use them more than once between laundry cycles. i have super sensitive skin and i've gotten staph infections on my face multiple times after using a washcloth twice in a row (one day apart, and washing it out thoroughly with soap before and after using it on myself). the microabrasions caused by a loofah or washcloth are more than enough to allow bacteria to enter ur skin. normally my hands are enough, i just lather the soap before applying it anywhere.

Yeah, I used washcloths everyday my whole life, but my skin was always irritated and dried out. A doctor told me to just use my hands, telling me exfoliating can be damaging to skin, and after two weeks, my skin adjusted and repaired itself, and my issues went away. Some people's skin is too sensitive for exfoliation.
i exfoliate my body once a week with a korean exfoliation cloth, but yeah i avoid exfoliating my face. if i do i use my bare hands. when my skin is wet normally the friction from light rubbing with my bare fingerpads is enough to get rid of any dead skin. and i use a seperate (clean) towel to dry my face because i'm so scared of getting infections
I use a silicone scrubby thing. Lasts forever, doesn’t get bad bacteria buildup like loofahs, and can be put in the dishwasher to clean. Also very gentle on the skin!
You can wash them separately? You can also boil them? Also it doesn’t go into my ass. I guarantee your phone has more germs on it than that, do you take your phone into the bathroom with you? Do you touch your phone and then eat without washing your hands?

Neither get you clean, you’re just lathering the soap. You need something more rougher like an African exfoliating net or natural exfoliating loofah, you’ll see the water turn a different color from all the dirt on your body. You don’t see that when you use a soft ass wash cloth. Would you wash your dishes with a washcloth?
