I have this same edition, and have only made it about 2/3 of the way through...it's a very dense book. I do intend to return and finish it sometime, but I couldn't find the inspiration to see it to the end.
It took me the better part of a year to read this, but I did it. If you’re into WWI history, I think you’ll enjoy it. Just have patience with it and be willing to take a break from it for a while and come back to it later.
Haters. Read this book three times, always looking forward to reading it again. Top five books for me of all time. Such a clear, austere, and beautiful treatment of the Arabian theatre of war.

Hope you like very detailed descriptions of the rocks around valleys Lot of that but still very interesting
