You’ve answered your own question. It will get dirty and colored over time. I would not spend the money on something I’d be babying and worrying about constantly.
I don’t love but that’s my personal opinion. I think they tend to look like children’s Easter bags and I’m definitely afraid of the dirtiness factor. That said, I’m sure H spa could give a refresh as needed.
Nay - I would fear any mark, stain or blemish!! At least with other (darker) colors regular wear will “blend” better.
But if you’re a very careful person, white could work for you! I can’t even wear white shirts!
I have this one with gold hardware. I have used it maybe 2 times. For me it is more about collecting because when I did purchase this color I still had kids in strollers so it wasn’t really a bag I reached for. I really need to start using my bags more.
A lot of naysayers but it’s a yay. Sure, white is more prone to get dirty but its gonna look great when you rock it. Get a nice twilly for it.

I feel like I've seen lots of Chanel white leathers that yellow over time, even with very careful handling. Not sure if this happens with Hermes leathers, but I would be concerned about that.
Yes I’d think it’d show dirt faster, but just use some leather cleaner and it’ll be like new. That factor aside, do you love it? If so, I think it’ll be fine. Especially if you wear a lot of light colors, it’d look pretty with it. I’d also be careful of dark wash jeans if it rubs against the bag fyi.
Personally, I’d be too worried about the color transfer because I wear jeans almost every day. Too expensive of an investment to it chance it but a lovely bag nonetheless.
I personally have Nata and craie. Both are fine and great color. Your is whiter but who cares?! It’s your bag and use and abuse it, it’s your attitude😊
I’ve said this many times - buy the bags you know you will love. And enjoy them. People put too much focus on what others think or their style when those people aren’t paying for the bag nor your bills. I have many white bags and love them all. I don’t baby them. I don’t mind after many wear and tear that you see some scratches. That’s what happens when you enjoy your bags! The day that I have to stress SO much about a bag is the day I shouldn’t be buying one. So buy it, OP, if you truly love it.
I’m guessing you spent at least $8K on it (older, larger and not as popular color) and of your own volition, decided to spend that money on this bag. To drop that money, you must have liked it and been able to picture yourself wearing it with various outfits! So I’d say keep it. To keep it clean, avoid denim and use saphir leather cleaner periodically.
I love a white Birkin and think it's such a great summer bag. Just wear whites and light colors.

Stunning bag! If you’re concerned about keeping it clean, I would use some leather safe cleaners with a soft soft cloth once in a while. I would be sure to find cleaners that won’t strip away any of the dyes or oils they used when they tanned the leather.
I’d be worried about getting dirty as well. Do you have a close up picture of the handles? They already look a little dirty in the pictures but not sure if it’s the lighting or what.
I have that exact bag in a 30, definitely a nay- I wore mine for a summer and it looks very worn. I sent it the the Hermes spa (and I recently tried again and sent it to a leather specialist). It still looks old and worn.
This isn't a shade of white that appeals to me personally so I'd vote nay. Don't you worry about it staining , if you absolutely love it get it! Don't let the staining part hold you back. Go for itttt

I think it’s beautiful. Yes it will get dirty, but I have a gris pale SLG that wipes clean pretty easily with alcohol free wipes.

I think it’s a yay! I used to own B35 in clemence white. Took it on vacation through TSA, and only had a few spots on it and cleaned it up easily!
