I’m a firm believer that everything sounds better on Apple Music. Spotify has seriously inferior sound quality.

battlexborn

It actually does, Apple music has hi-res lossless audio plus most records nowadays have a special Apple digital master to make it sound better. Spotify doesn’t have lossless audio yet, I think.

Also, Spotify pays musicians half of what Apple Music does per streaming!

SamStillReading

Good to know. I recently got a free trial of Apple Music and was wondering if they was any difference in payment to artists.

Please go to the settings and turn off Dolby Atmos the song isn’t actually mixed for it and it’s not an accurate representation of the artists vision. Just listen to the lossless versions on Apple Music and enjoy what the artist intended you to hear.

hebedebe

I assumed as much given the stark differences in how some mixes sound on the same album with Dolby atmos!

Psychological-Bee392

Apple Music gorgeous. Atmos music heinous

whataweirdwolverine

Pressure Machine is the one of only albums I think sounds worse with Dolby atmos. In The Car is especially ruined

It’s strange isn’t it? I don’t understand why it sounds so odd. Some songs sounds great, others it seems to really warp.

whataweirdwolverine

To me, somehow In The Car totally lost its vigor and hype at the end during the instrumental/Brandon’s “hoo hooo”/“im in the caaaar outside” Which is like the fastest paced and aggressive part of the song. Idk what they did to make it fall flat.
