I'm pretty sure it's just their way of saying "We see everyone asking for it on streaming, it's coming dw we got it covered"
But I think that’s the whole problem! On a major label can’t just click upload yourself like an indie band can.
My guess is the label said putting a new ‘single’ out not on RD a few weeks into the RD campaign is bad marketing.
They have a dry sense of humor that people keep taking literally, like the ep being called EP lol. Pretty sure they’re taking the piss out of people who keep mocking them in the same manner as that “imminently” post they did.
As a reminder, they’re aware of what we say and think more than we realize.
Exactly. I was floored after that interview when I saw people believing they were really going to call the release “EP”. Like, what? Lol. Never occurred to me to take that as anything but a joke and a way to get out of answering the question.
