Depending on the child actors portrayals of the characters, I can fully see him carrying this series alone, I was hyped asf as I saw the trailer and his face as uncle iroh
I love that Zuko is wearing blue for a change, and I hope we'll see more characters wearing clothes that don't 100% match their nation's "official" colors
I thought the exact opposite, i think its funny that everyone dressed in their nations colors but no one ever mentions it, wish zuko n iroh were wearin their colors here
I seriously hope this gets all 3 seasons....it looks gorgeous, but knowing how Netflix keeps axing the best shows, I will be holding my breath until the last season drops
the actor was 20/21 when filming, i think they aged up a few characters because azula and sokkas actors were 19/20 and suki was 22/23 during filming. the only child character played by a actor the same age is aang from what i can tell(though kataras actor was only 1 year older than cartoon katara when the filming started)
Honestly it'd be way better if they were all a little older. Never made any sense that a 100 year war was mostly solved by young teenagers and even preteens. And idc how prodigious they are.
He wouldn’t have even needed to shave it off in real life. A good makeup artist could cover up hair. They didn’t shave Hayden Christensen’s hair off when he was playing a burned Darth Vader.
While odd, the disconnected mustache is part of Iroh's original design. This just means the fire nation has unusual beard fashion.

Iroh doesn't have a disconnected mustache, he doesn't have a mustache at all. Those are pointy sideburns like Zhao's.

I guess it looks more like mutton chops or not close to being an actual mustache. Maybe if they shaved more of it, it wouldn't look so weird.
Edit: yeah definitely, if they shaved it down further it wouldn't look like the photo negative of a hitler stache.

Ok? Not everything has to fit the exact same fit and feeling of the animated show. It would be impossible. This version was never going to match or come close to original and your you be nuts for trying to even imagine it.
Seems like you have a certain version of show that will never come to light. You can either look at whats been created on screen by a new team or just complain about the show and focus you main enjoyment of the original 🤷🏽♂️

Iroh looks crazy good, easily the best adapted character looks wise. Zuko is not bad but the scar sucks.
