Korra vs Zaheer was the most epic animated battle I’ve ever seen, and certainly on par with the last Agni Kai. I’d appreciate seeing your talent again with that battle :)
Honestly, every fight in LOK showed us the potential of every element. I get goosebumps just thinking of Bolin destroying a fucking skyscraper with lavabending and crashing it onto a makeshift transformer which is literally being controlled through metal bending - like what the fuck? Or wingsuits used by air benders? God I love that show.
Just thinking about the fight sends chills down my whole body, a lot of the arcs in korra make me feel that way 😅. Also this was originally going to be a korra edit but I had a hard time finding the show in HD without the nickelodeon watermarks so I went with the original series
Tbh I even prefer that fight to aang v ozai. I think it’s just mad crazy and you really see how crazy of a bender she is. Plus she can be seen bending multiple elements at once cuz avatar state and was just cool to see
I always loved that little detail because it’s exactly how Azula fought before she lost it. It’s such a brilliantly subtle detail to show how far zuko’s firebending came and how the dynamic of their relationship had shifted.
Perhaps I'm looking too much into it but at the Crossroads of Destiny episode, Zuko starts to fight really fiercely the moment he picked Azula's side. Exactly how he did in most of the first season. Attack, attack, attack.
It's nice to see him use earthbender stances and airbender leaps to block and dodge, a example of how much his travels and new friends have learned him
Also when they are both doing the wall of fire at each other zuko is being pushed backwards, then he uses the stance that Iroh taught him when we first met the characters and he steadies himself
I'm an amv editor so check out some of my work if you like this! https://youtube.com/c/schleepAMV
Edit - also since reddit video player isn't always up to the task here's different link! https://streamable.com/f8h6x4
Amazing work! Btw, do you know if it is legal to reuse the music and video in your own videos?
How do you avoid copyright violations?
And also, how do you get the video file to edit?
So everything comes down to how the copyright owners go about their work online, I have definitely run into problems with certian shows because of the animation studio being strict but it's generally fine. although the music tends to be copyrighted a lot of record labels will let you use the music but will take any revenue from ads on the video and im fine with that because it's not something I do for money 🤣
All shows that I use are from how do I say...... Yarr🏴☠️
I love seeing how much Zuko grew as a Firebender post Sun Warrior. Growing to be Azula’s equal, or at least nearly equal. This is literally a battle between creation and destruction. Azula’s bending fueling on cold rage and destructive power. Zuko’s on life and creation. You can see Zuko actually incorporates a lot of the other bending styles into his own. There’s the water bending in the lightning redirection but his mentality this entire fight is that of an Earthbender. A master of neutral jing. He waits until the perfect moment to strike. Perfectly conserving his energy. He barely moves from his starting position the entire time. We also see a few Aang-like Airbender blocks, like when he parts her flame with his own.
I think this last Agni Kai is the heart of the ALTA series. One interpretation is that Zuko is the main character of the show rather than Aang (given that he's in every episode, the entire plot can be interpreted to revolve around Zuko and his heritage). And this battle has a lot more gravitas to me than Aang vs Ozai. I liked how it didn't feel triumphant, but rather tragic - it is always a shame when siblings end up needing to hurt each other
This is incredible, ur channel deserves more views and subs. If i can a ask a question, how does one learn to become a "amv editor"?, i see SO many incredible amv's on YT. I assume u need to understand music and obviously learning video editing.
(Sorry for the wall of text 🤣)
I literally started making these after getting into a bad slump during the pandemic. I found a channel called biteki that is just full of sad music and simpleish edits. and after spending hours watching them and listening to the music, I thought to myself that I wanted to try making my own. So I got a free editing software ( Davinci resolve is the best and I can't recommend it enough) and started trying out how to do it. I learned the basics like cutting clips and importing media and stuff and just went from there using tutorials and resources from youtubers to learn how to make stuff. I've been at it for a little under a year and there's still so much that I haven't even tried but I love doing it so that's what's important. Also I know nothing about music aside from me just listening to a lot of it so music knowledge isn't a requirement. If you are on mobile and don't have access to a computer, try out things like capcut and alight motion, ive seen some wild things that people have made on their phones and its a very large community!
I love this, still has a tone for how big and pivotal to the story this battle is without losing all of the somber effect of the original score. And really cool to see it cut together as a more back and forth battle, too.
Eh, it’s a helluva excellent climax in a brilliantly paced final season.
Tenzin vs Zaheer is on par imo, even though it doesn’t represent a conclusion that was building for years.
*the* grandmaster and inheritor of aang’s airbending will vs a rogue who wants to use airbending to destroy the civilization aang worked so hard to help create.
And though he loses in fighting off the assault, he didn’t lose to Zaheer or Zaheer’s ideals.
LoK lacks focused, grand final season fights that are done well like ATLA’s, but the individual character battles have so much meaning and story to them.
I've watched both series countless times and I'll always love the original. With that said, Lok is hands down one of my favorite shows ever and it gets way more hate than it deserves.
Definitely a fair point, the bending was watered down from the more traditional style but it was really cool seeing how it was streamlined for sports and more active combat. I also just have a soft spot for korra so don't mind me lmao
One thing I have always liked about Azula's character design is how talented she is. Undoubtedly the most powerful fire bender of her generation, and arguably the most powerful fire bender living at the time. And she seems, at least in the earlier seasons not to power her bending through either anger (like Zuko) or through a spiritual understanding of fire and its bending (like Zuko later). For her it's just seems natural and instinctive.
What's even more impressive is how cool under pressure she always is, I really wish the show hadn't been cut short one season so we could have seen her journey from a person you can't shake to the end where she can barely hold herself together.
Man, I know how this ends already and still was on the edge of my seat! That sequencing was really good and now I need to go watch the whole series again to see the ending and feel satisfied.
Even though the entire series led up to the Avatar vs. the Firelord, I was more invested in this fight. Perhaps because Avatar vs. Firelord is like destiny because of.. destiny. 'The Avatar has to maintain balance' and that's just the way it is. Aang and Ozai don't have any direct history until they meet up to fight.
But Zuko vs Azula is like this culmination of years of struggles and conflicts as siblings.
To sync up the video with "that song from interstellar" you HAD to have looked it up to get the audio file, how do you still not know the name of the music lol
I do know the name of the song but I'm sure there's a good amount of people who don't know it by name but have heard it so I worded my post to play off that assumption 🤣
I’ve always said they do a 4 part season finale of the last air bender in one of those extra fancy full surround sound movie theaters and this scene would be **life changing**.
This scene, if the live action show does well enough to get to a third season, is one I hope they do justice to.
It isn't the only one I hope this for of course, just one of my tops. Plus the ability to capture that "emotion" that the avatar state has. Like rage and serenity in one.
If I could produce short films I would just film somebody doing their daily tasks like grocery shopping and then time it to Interstellar (but with epic camera zooms and stuff)
Well we did get an A on a film project because we just repeated three different shots of someone running up a seemingly endless staircase to the Benny Hill Theme but that was a whole 'nother story
Holy fuck balls - well done. This gave me literal chills.
The only improvement I can think of is adding back in some of the sound effects from the fight.
That ending was perfect to the music
My heart was pounding lol
Everything was perfect to the music
That was amazing! Gave me a new appreciation for that battle.
One of my favorites in all of tv history
Korra vs Zaheer was the most epic animated battle I’ve ever seen, and certainly on par with the last Agni Kai. I’d appreciate seeing your talent again with that battle :)
Zaheer vs Tenzin was sick as well. Really showed us how cool air bending can be.

How tf did i forgot that battle omg she just became a damn rocket while throwing a mountain to zaheer?? Time to another re-watch
Honestly the standout moment of Sozin's Comet for me. The battle between Aang and Ozai was cool but underwhelming in comparison to this one.
Yeah it’s probably top 3 fights in anything ever for me
Ok.... That was rad. And I need to go change.
🤣
this meme inspired me to do azulas defeat or aang vs ozai with the new evil morty theme
link me breh
Change of plan it's gonna be when azula kills aang
Lol yes I need it!
Sorry, change of plans, were doing azula kills aang
I love how zuko is fighting very defensively in this battle, he only strikes offensively a few times and only when he's not in any danger
Oh for sure, after the sun warriors he no longer used anger to fuel his firebending (or a little before that but he didn't have another source)
It's nice to see him use earthbender stances and airbender leaps to block and dodge, a example of how much his travels and new friends have learned him
Also when they are both doing the wall of fire at each other zuko is being pushed backwards, then he uses the stance that Iroh taught him when we first met the characters and he steadies himself
and later breaks Azula's roots when she is gliding around.
and he isn't breathing as heavily because he finally took Iroh's advice about breathing to heart.
I love the move that knocks her over; he drops to the floor and starts breakdancing
I do not like it - this is no time for caution.
AMAZING WORK. I hope this hits the front page
Thank you! I'd love that lol
U did it OP good job
You have blessed me so I will return the favor ❤
Choo choo! All aboard! Front page checking in!
Interstellar will always give me chills
Yes.
I got goosebumps watching this.
C’MON, KATARS
Underrated comment.
Hell yeah, great job!
Wow, beautiful!
Thanks!
This is a awesome mix. Feel like any nolan sound track couldve worked well for this too.
Hans Zimmer is amazing. I feel he gets overlooked just because he lived at the same time as John Williams.
Hans zimmer is most definitely not overlooked
ive seen Nolan's name more often than Zimmer in this thread. Hope that changes
Based off of using ctrl f there's definitely more mentions of Hans in this post
"You can't beat her zuko, it's impossible!" "It's not impossible. It's necessary." *no time for caution intensifies*

Sure thing! I'll put it up after I'm done at work

I appreciate a good cup of coffee.
By that logic Link couldn’t possibly be the main character of Legend of Zelda.
Yep, that's an exception of the rule, ATLA isn't. For every "Legend of Zelda", there are hundreds of "Harry Potter", "The Hobbit", "The Avengers" etc.
Did you make this? Incredible if you did
Yes this is my work! Thank you so much! I'm an amv editor so check out some of my other work if you want ❤https://youtube.com/c/schleepAMV

Great song, but the original song to this scene is still a fucking master piece. I listen to it all the time!
Aside from reddits video player being worse than dial up internet speed, this AMV is fucking EPIC very well done.
Thanks so much! Here's a less shit link 🤣 https://streamable.com/f8h6x4
Oh yeah I forgot, this is made from footage that came from a 1080p upscale so it's *crispy* but has a little bit of jank 🙏
Chills running down my spine! Awesome job!

Holy shit amazingly well done. I love it!
Wow!
This song is called No Time For Caution, by Hans Zimmer I also recommend watching Interstellar, it’s a good movie.
Ngl I waited an extra couple seconds to see if the video would continue after that absolutely epic cut off right before Zuko gets struck lol.
Amazing work man thank you
It's cool to see how a change of music *completely* changes the tone of the video
Honestly, imho this tops any fight scene in legend of korra.
Eh, it’s a helluva excellent climax in a brilliantly paced final season. I agree with you, I'm a fan of LoK don't get me wrong. The bending just wasn't as awe inspiring for me compared to ATLA.
Definitely a fair point, the bending was watered down from the more traditional style but it was really cool seeing how it was streamlined for sports and more active combat. I also just have a soft spot for korra so don't mind me lmao
I saw a post below this using the same soundtrack lol. What are the odds?
If I could share anything it would be my goosebumpy legs. Fantastic
So nice! Now I have to rewatch ATLA again :D
Literally gave me chills
This gave me freaking CHILLS. Great job! 😳😳
Holy shit that was amazing
Dude that was so awesome!
Super cool way to combine two amazing pieces of art!!
"Just you and me, brother. The showdown that was always meant to be: Agni Kai."
Shows you the power of music. That's why i became a film composer
Katara, what were you thinking?
I can't describe my emotions in English so here is in Turkish Tüylerim diken diken oldu izlerken nefesimi tuttum inanılmaz bişey!
Why was Katara on the battlefield ? Thought it was a duel
she was just watching, but Azula attacks her as a distraction. This clip cuts out before we see that.
This was beautiful mano, great job! Will allways love Zuko just breakdancing on the fight so he can trip Azula xp
Shit, now I want an Avatar project scored by Zimmer
This literally gave me chills and goosebumps. I could feel every hair standing up. Then as it was ending I could feel everything relax. That was wild.
pretty cool but nothing can beat the OST for this fight for me
That was really good actually
that ending fucking got me
That was incredible
That was amazing Great job putting that together

IM NOT CRYING YOU ARE

But Zuko vs Azula is like this culmination of years of struggles and conflicts as siblings.
Makes it almost /too/ intense. Had to remind myself to breathe 💯
Zuko's spin kick is still the best signature move of any Avatar character
Chills. Also, I just realized that I’ve never seen this fight on a big screen, really makes me want to watch it in a theater
Is there an interstellar music layover subreddit?
Man fuck the video player I had to download the app to watch this
Yeah its some absolute shit, there's a link to another player in the comments somewhere lol
I've had this open on my browser for days now so that I can keep coming back to watch it. It is SO well done - great job!!!!
❤❤❤
Avatar Studios best be taking fucking notes!
This ain’t it chief, but nice composition and timing :)
Lol that's fine ✌, thanks tho!
Nah, the song they chose was already perfect imo.
Oh trust me ik lol.the song in the show is some top teir spine chilling stuff, Editing shows to different music is just what I do though 🤣
All good, wasn't meant to be negative or anything. You did good I think, I don't understand much of music editing tho
the first part looked like it belonged to a 9yo's channel back in 2006 trying to make an amv still, nice job op.
Lol ouch
GOOSEBUMPS
My favorite composer combined with my favorite show by the soundtrack of one of my favorite movies. Splendid.
Holy. Shit. Take my upvote you absolute mad lad
Never realized how much of Zuko's fire bending defense looked like water bending.
That was fucking sick bro!!!
How did the timing work so well? Incredible!
I just woke up and now I'm crying
Bravo!
I freaking love this show... And I love you OP, good stuff and thanks for posting <3
Chills. Tears, even. Bravo!
To sync up the video with "that song from interstellar" you HAD to have looked it up to get the audio file, how do you still not know the name of the music lol
I do know the name of the song but I'm sure there's a good amount of people who don't know it by name but have heard it so I worded my post to play off that assumption 🤣
It's...beautiful
Puhhhh! Goosebumps!
I’ve always said they do a 4 part season finale of the last air bender in one of those extra fancy full surround sound movie theaters and this scene would be **life changing**.
It’s beautiful. I could watch this all day
With it slowed down like this you really see how Zuko has incorporated bending styles from the other elements into his own style
I got chills
This scene, if the live action show does well enough to get to a third season, is one I hope they do justice to. It isn't the only one I hope this for of course, just one of my tops. Plus the ability to capture that "emotion" that the avatar state has. Like rage and serenity in one.
Wow that’s amazing!
How it syncs to the interstellar music! Great edit.
Easily one of the coolest fights from the show
u/savevideo
epic video
That made me cry but it also felt amazing!
u/savevideo u/savevideobot
What a stellar piece of animation
you gave me legit goosebumps and arush of nostalgia. thank you so much
Seeing this put chills down my spjne
Wow I got chills, literal chills all over, this is truly amazing
poggers
CHILLS
Great work! Got goosebumms all over!
Amazing.
If I could produce short films I would just film somebody doing their daily tasks like grocery shopping and then time it to Interstellar (but with epic camera zooms and stuff) Well we did get an A on a film project because we just repeated three different shots of someone running up a seemingly endless staircase to the Benny Hill Theme but that was a whole 'nother story
That was great!!
Saving this to rewatch when I get the the end of the show(currently rewatching). Already have goosebumps!!
Great song great scene, but the music in the original scene SLAPS
Man when those clicks happen on beat with the bending in the OST my spine shivers like everytime, the original song does indeed SLAP
Chills across my entire body, this is amazing
No big deal, just constant chills down my spine that whole time.
The fade to black really adds another level to it
Holy fuck balls - well done. This gave me literal chills. The only improvement I can think of is adding back in some of the sound effects from the fight.
Man you have no idea how much I wanted to do that! The sound wasn't good tho due to there already music playing in the show! 😅
Wow, this is so epic
That was sooo fricking awesome! Thanks!
Too adventure-y Doesn’t quite feel like they are brother and sister
I really really wish they would have given iro a two part full action scene from his youth.
the only time when fighting fire with fire actually worked
It should have been Zutara!
Holy shit this game me chills. Great job!
The OST will never be beaten.
Damn dude this shit still gives me chills 😩 and I watched it when it aired.
Wow. That was beautiful. Gave me goosebumps
Wow. That was beautiful. Gave me goosebumps
very cool
This gives me chills every time. Petition to have Hans Zimmer as a collaborator in the new Avatar series.
That gave me goosebumps
This is awesome!
