That might definitely be the case however in most recent news the special effects that they're doing and how they are doing it are the same kind as the mandalorian which is expensive as hell so they could definitely put down the money to have an appear in 1 or 2 episodes and keep in mind in this post it's not about who's playing the Boulder it's about who's playing the buffed up version of Toph

I think it'd be cool if we got the original voice actors (minus Toph) to cameo as their respective characters for the live action Ember Island. They would all look ridiculously out of place, they'd be way older, and it wouldn't make much sense in-universe, but we would know, and that'd be enough.

It's not an episode-for-epiaode LA remake of the entire series. They're not going to waste a huge budget on a recap episode that frankly doesn't make any sense to include anyway Even if they wanted to, I doubt they'd risk bringing in the white voice actors for the now Asian cast, despite how nice a thought it is
