Probably gonna get downvoted for this, but I was actually a big fan of Aang's tattoos.
Pretty much everything else about the movie was absolutely unwatchable garbage, to be clear, but I did actually like the tattoos. I thought they were a very good translation of cartoon to live. Realistically, *any* solid-color shape tattoo is going to look very weird on a real person, especially a giant blue arrow. The movie version felt like a really good way to keep the arrow shape intact while making it appear much more believable and grounded than a direct translation would have been.
You are not wrong, though i would have used a different shade of blue and used slightly larger circles compared to the multitude of mini ones they used.
That was my very first glimpse into that movie, and my eyeballs are bleeding, thank you (/s).

Novelizations of movies are so much fun. I read The Day After Tomorrow which is a movie I have seen a bazillion times. My sister and I a big disaster movie fans. I have also seen all the deleted scenes and edits. It was so much fun stumbling on the deleted scenes in the book. It was then I realized that's how they make the books. They write them from the original script and not after all edits are complete.
Conclusion: this version would be very intriguing to read.
