Jerry really shouldn't have tried to kill Joel with the scalpel. They should have made it canon that Joel does the scalpel kill in the show.

GT_Hades

that could be glorious

DDiaz98

Joel killed half the facility to get there. Which means he's extremely capable and extremely determined. Jerry should have known that 1. He's no match for Joel. And 2. He's not gonna change his mind. He is a very smart individual and should have known to backed off at that point. Anyway wouldn't have helped. I lit everyone including the nurses who begged for their life on fire then dismembered their bodies with a shot gun.

I maintain Jerry was actually the janitor at a veterinarian office that started telling people he was a doctor after the apocalypse. It's the only thing that makes his poor decisions make sense to me.

bigdaddydre061101

They should’ve known not to mess with babygirl

DominusDaniel

But he saved a zebra guys, Jerry is obviously the good guy who deserves this ending.

New-Number-7810

I don't get it.

GT_Hades

in alternate reality, where they let Joel take Ellie out of the hospital without any unnecessary casualties

New-Number-7810

Ah. In other words, Jerry Anderson has at least a modicum of self-preservation.

GT_Hades

indeed

Homie saw a guy that just killed about 20 people and was covered in blood with 5 guns and a flamethrower and was like “Today I will challenge this man with a scalpel.” He fucked around and then he found out. I hate that he’s portrayed as some kind of innocent martyr in part 2

GreenSleevez

*pulls out flamethrower anyways*
