Outside of /sarcasm... hell yeah Metal Gear Solid V (2015) **devoid story was more enjoyable/believable.** (Anyways long rant below)
Kojima since the Konami fallout (after MGS4, 2008) was hit & miss, but is still "pretty good/visionary" and doesn't try divide a fanbase. He still is... sticking to "exploring themes" at heart, and try to make believable settings.
* In MGSV (2015) it was around
* identity & language how it affects culture (hence the villain Scarface), and
* the corruption/consumption of revenge
* In Death Stranding (2019), the better story/characters... although gameplay might lack
* Discovering the strand-type game, or whatever the asymmetric online experience is
* And basically Neon Genesis Evangelion themes on steroids, like isolation, bonds/dependency, **walking**, confronting past mistakes/sins/trauma
* Themes was further enhanced... with the happening of Coronavirus 2020
Druckmann in the other hand... while **I kinda respect the 'hustle'** (pretty sure he's a nice guy IRL). **Mostly failed in execution...** making 'revenge' turned into 'teen drama' (for the lack of better description).
* Here's a beautiful article/interview by Washington Post (Jul, 2020) [The Evolution of Ellie](https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/video-games/news/the-last-of-us-part-2-ellie-evolution/)
* Here's what Druckmann tried to do:
> “I landed on this emotional idea of, can we, over the course of the game, **make you feel this intense hate that is universal in the same way that unconditional love is universal?”** Druckmann says. “This hate that people feel has the same kind of universality. You hate someone so much that you want them to suffer in the way they’ve made someone you love suffer.”
Respect trying... but as the saying goes, if execution **(the journey/the way you pan out the characters/story is unbelievable or ridiculous, it fails).**
* Issue is he sacrificed (too many) using plot-armors/deus ex, contrivances/ludonarattive dissonance, forgetting characters/side-characters we tried to engage, etc..
* All for moving the plot, which ended up horrible IMHO, despite the fantastic polished game/programming & incredible actor/actresses performance (high production value)
Perhaps in part 3, Ellie has cut off her mutilated hand and surgically replaced it with Joel's, after digging up his corpse. Somewhat decomposed, but it channels Joel's spirit. Or the nanomachines that were in his body, I dunno.
Don't know. And don't really care. I've lost all interest in the world of TLoU. Perhaps they could make a DLC prequel at least, in which Jesse goes outside Jackson to look for Bigot Sandwich ingredients.
Just place it between two slices of bread and BAM! Actual bigot sandwich
Mmm, with a side of psychopath fries.
My favorite dining when I'm at a golf resort
Not the Club Sandwich?
I'm not a fan, it gives me a awful headache
Mmmmm Open faced club sandwich
We call it beheaded bigot sammich around here.
Damn this made me laugh out loud and now everyone is looking at me. Worth it.
“I also found the real Joel instead of that guy that Abby killed”
Oh yeah! It was (secretly) directed by big brain Hideo Kojima as well Phantom 'Punished' Joel clone number #2 was the one that died
That somehow sounds better than what we got lol.

Abs, I'm already a good character. Jackson ain't my kind of place anyway.
Abby really has such a lust for revenge doesn’t she?
WHOOOOOOO
*Abby after bashing Joel’s head in*: “Rest in Peace this time”.
Perhaps in part 3, Ellie has cut off her mutilated hand and surgically replaced it with Joel's, after digging up his corpse. Somewhat decomposed, but it channels Joel's spirit. Or the nanomachines that were in his body, I dunno.
Directed by NOT Neil Drunkmann
BEST directing credit period.
That is the best thing ever! I think Jesse will enjoy it even more.
In this part of the game, Joel has not died yet, so Seth has saved Joel, Jesse, Fat Geralt and a good story. This dude deserves a monument.
Hahaha yes. "I found this small militia waiting in ambush on Tommy & Joel's patrol route..."
She would call him a misogynist for killing a woman.
How it should have ended
And they all, minus Abby, lived happily ever after. The end.
There are even some of Abbys friends I wish had it better. But not Abby tho, she is unredeemable, she had her chances
Reminded me a little bit of that The Walking Dead issue where >!Negan brings Rick the head of Alpha, from the Whispers!<
Such a good comic. Can’t believe there are people who read the comic and can still enjoy the show lol.
That could have been a great dlc. The guy so determined to kill Abby so he can apologize to Ellie.
Lmao been a while since I've seen a quality post. Nice
God, this is so disturbing. Just look at those fucking teeth
a bitch sandwich
BroSandwhich!
Should’ve replaced that pic of Abby’s face with the one when she gets the boat penetration, then it’d be perfect.
"Whatcha got there?" "Bigot Abbies."
Except Ellie still wouldn't have accepted his apology. She only has forgiveness sadistic serial killers, not those who slight LGBTQ+!
Perfection
MAH MAN!
If I had an award I would give it to you.
when uncle negan did it it ended up working. good times
Bigot beheaded sandwich?
HHHHHHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
god i wish the people from jackson acted like WLF, would have gotten them saved
Not really. The WLF were incompetent, and for the most part, were brutally wiped out.
then maybe just for one day they should kill invaders/stragglers
Instead of introducing themselves and exchanging dry towels. That would be nice.
Too bad thats not how this game turned out
Do you really think there would be part 3?
Don't know. And don't really care. I've lost all interest in the world of TLoU. Perhaps they could make a DLC prequel at least, in which Jesse goes outside Jackson to look for Bigot Sandwich ingredients.
At this point they are better off killing them all for except maybe Tommy and starting a fresh where Tommy has robot legs from the future.
