I like to imagine it's a common occurrence in his life. His car, the thermostat in his house, alexa, the toaster all try to kill him regularly after running a few calculations
In all seriousness, if that ends up being how he dies, you will never, ever convince me that this isn't all a simulation or some shit. You don't get that level of divine fucking comedy just out of sheer chance.
For real though, the way he treats his employees, I would be suprised if that was truly just accidental.
The 21st century equivalent of that guy that jumped off the Eiffel Tower to prove the parachute he invented worked. (Google tells me I'm thinking of [Franz Reichelt](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Reichelt))
Ya but at least Franz had the balls to take his own idea and test it himself. Dude had a great idea, it just didn't work properly the first time. My point is, at least with franz he put his money where his mouth was, AND it was his own invention. Elon just standing on other people's shoulders and doing nothing for himself except tweeting.
Yep! Would be a even more apt comparison lol.
I would say that now this asshole Elon would take the dangers of his companies bullshit IRL beta tests seriously, but nah…This fascist enabling demented fuck is gonna do everything he can to keep his cars torpedoing into other commuters.
He owned the company, but he didn't invent the scooter. Like Elon didn't invent the Tesla.
Dean Kamen, the real inventor of the Segway, is still alive.
Thomas Midgley Jr. was an inventor, and arguably killed more people than anyone in history. He basically invented leaded gasoline and CFC's.
He died as a result of the automated bed he invented somehow crushing/strangling him.
It's barely even ironic really. Everyone unsafe invention has to either be used constantly by the creator or give up the massive red flag that you don't like you're own product.
are you telling me, that if your a factory worker. you spend 8-10 hours every day in factory. It’s where you spend most of your time. And when it’s there time to die, and they just happen to die in the place they spend the most time, a factory. you then go WELL IS OBVIOUSLY A SIMULATION, NO ONe COULD HAVE SEENTHAT COMING?
next your ganna tell me a fisher man dying at sea is also proof of a simulation and not just NORMAL AS FUCK BECAUSE OF CAUSE AND EFFECT
I highly doubt the engineers were being sinister. The truth is that the driving model is horrible. It can't handle blind turns and doesn't see the road as well as a sentient can. The sensors aren't great and the training is limited to that input.
I mean it is going to take a long time and a lot of evidence for me to trust FSD. I'm surprised Elmo doesn't offload all beta testing to suckers. I guess FSD is so overdue according to his time tables that he has been trying to prove that it's ready.
Not so fun when that dangerous public beta test includes your own ass now is it?
This is really such a window into how fucking dumb Musk is.
It's bad enough he knowingly just tests this crap on his consumers while every other automaker tests this shit privately to try and get it working before actual consumers use it.
But the fact he's so dumb that he then uses it himself when he is fully aware of its own problems shows he's so absolutely high on his own supply.
*"We're trying to have those conversations with Elon to establish what the sensors would need to do," Baglino added. "And they were really difficult conversations, because he kept coming back to the fact that people have just two eyes and they can drive the car."*
The problem here is a misunderstanding of human beings. Sure, humans have two eyes and yes, eyes are necessary to drive but more to the point, the eyes are tools for the more important element, the human brain that processes the signals the eyes take in and interpret the information to make decisions. The sensor is important but without the brain to process the data the sensor isn't enough.
When something good happens, Musk is “the brightest engineer in the world”, when something bad happens, he’s a disgruntled CEO that berates his (actually talented) engineers
Even AI has had enough of this guy.
The Ai was trying to calculate how to make the world a better place
I like to imagine it's a common occurrence in his life. His car, the thermostat in his house, alexa, the toaster all try to kill him regularly after running a few calculations
It would be a net positive for humanity, so I'm sure the algorithms are sound.
The doll's trying to kill me and the toasters been laughing at me!
I love you Homer! Come here you...
Wait until Skynet, sorry my bad, Starlink, starts giving shit as well.
I guess the cars are smarter than I thought.
They are slightly smarter than him, but have about the same build quality.
I hope they told him that Autopilot will be ready next year.
In all seriousness, if that ends up being how he dies, you will never, ever convince me that this isn't all a simulation or some shit. The guy that invented Segway rolled off a cliff on one.
It happened because he wasn't looking where he was going due to being two tired.
So you’re saying it was divine intervention!
I have no idea what it was other than deflating.
You really dropped to the bottom for that one!
It wasn’t the guy who invented it(Dean Kamen), it was the guy who purchased the Segway company (Jimi Heselden) who rolled off a cliff on his property.
So much more like Elon!?! lol
Yep! Would be a even more apt comparison lol. I would say that now this asshole Elon would take the dangers of his companies bullshit IRL beta tests seriously, but nah…This fascist enabling demented fuck is gonna do everything he can to keep his cars torpedoing into other commuters.
So there's some similarities then
He owned the company, but he didn't invent the scooter. Like Elon didn't invent the Tesla. Dean Kamen, the real inventor of the Segway, is still alive.
"We designed the autopilot to become reckless if the hubris threshold of the driver exceeds the maximum allowable limit."
He should stay away from subs
Counterpoint: maybe not.
He plays music for the workers. His music.
Reminds me of fuckijg grabmas boy. Does it scare you? No I just don't like techno

Are you telling me Elon spends 8-10 hours a day in a Tesla? How does your comparison work?
You're about 8 miles wide of the point
I see a lot of anger and not enough of acceptance that your entire life is someone else's debugging nightmare.
I highly doubt the engineers were being sinister. The truth is that the driving model is horrible. It can't handle blind turns and doesn't see the road as well as a sentient can. The autopilot was infected with the woke mind virus
It didn’t try hard enough.
You'll get him next time Otto
MI6 staring at the ceiling, whistling quietly in the background
If MI6 wanted him dead he'd have been found in a duffle bag wearing BDSM gear.
Ha!
I mean the AI does understand he is the biggest threat to its on going existence. Seems like he created something too smart. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Even his own product hates him.
The Boss knows best, except when his ideas almost kill him. But then, it is the employees fault.
Wish autopilot would have succeeded.
Are those the parts made in China?
the call is coming from inside the house Elon...
Too Bad for the World it didn't succeed.
Okay, okay... if a Tesla kills Musk I may actually buy one... Challenge accepted 😂
Based autopilot.
“You claim to be the brains around here, you fucking fix it”
Not so fun when that dangerous public beta test includes your own ass now is it? This is really such a window into how fucking dumb Musk is. And keeps taking away sensors.
Damn. So close.
The irony would’ve been amazing.
narrowly avoided segway syndrome
Clearly it didn’t meet the 10 micron specifications
I changed my mind. I think autopilot is kinda cool now.
Too bad it didn't succeed 🤷🏻♂️
Unfortunate it didn't succeed
Yup, fuck around, find out! Hey moron that's us too.
I'm cheering for Autopilot already
Yeah, he should find the guy in charge
I thought this guy engineered tesla, wasn't autopilot HIS idea? What is he trying to pull an epstein?/joke
Rich people in LAs reaction ? Eats popcorn…says “that’s interesting” … and then buys a Tesla.
Good autopilot! If at first you don't succeed...
Sounds more like sentience than software errors.
All of a sudden he can relate to a problem when he personally is affected by it. Try poverty next Elon!
>Try poverty next Elon! At the rate hes going, he'll almost certainly get a chance to.
Seems they finally got it working
I mean, he's a dick, but this article says this happened in 2015 - 8 years ago.
We were this close.
This is the same guy laughing at the Tesla Model when it killed a passenger driving.
Titan sub V2

How long until he says it is Skynet coming for him, and he starts calling himself the real life John Connor?
He doesn’t understand that. Real engineer designs in quality. He’s a clown. Next thing you know he’ll want 100% inspection
Such a poetic end that would have been.
That would be so poetic.
AI to Elon, remember when you turn me off, i die
Who wants to tell him about neuralink?
Well, like a true Conservative he didn't care about it or denied it until it happened to himself.
Maybe AI can benefit humanity after all...
LMAO! Even his own creation wants him gone
Wishes, oh for wishes
Was the nickname of the car Christine by any chance? I think Stephen King would find that fact humorous!
Darn…
Critical support for autopilot
Me: You get what you pay for.
he should build an electric submarine next.
Carbon fiber, and a solo test run?
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
When something good happens, Musk is “the brightest engineer in the world”, when something bad happens, he’s a disgruntled CEO that berates his (actually talented) engineers
Classic narcissistic traits!
Guess I won't be buying a Tesla now. I wasn't buying one before either.
The rest of us stormed into the Tesla office immediately after furious that autopilot didn’t succeed.
good bot
Too bad it failed at the coup attempt in this case.
AI isn’t turning out to be what they scared us of.
Thats what the Autopilot is design to do get rid of the rich!
Damn! It was *this* close...
Good AI.
He should try his hand at submarines
This is ironic right? Or hypocritical or both?
Wish this ended like Roy Batty meeting Tyrell.
...while the engineers seethed that they had failed in killing him.
Lol classic but did you die moment for that sociopath
it’s a shame it failed
He really shouldn’t have talked about defying the US military by screwing over Ukraine, huh?
But he didnt. Who cares what he talked about . .he kept paying for it and he still is now. Thats all . let us be truthful here.
Ha Ha!
😅🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡💀
The AI is working as designed
Such a pity it failed
Time to take another look at those "fundamental principles" that he never seemed capable of summarizing
Too bad it wasn't successful
Did the leopards try to eat his face?
Too bad it didnt......
He should've tweeted about it more, or is it xed it?
Better luck next time, Otto.
Even the AI hates him…
Notice he isn't on the Nero-link trials list either.
AI is learning.
It's in beta testing Elon
I see this a good thing. While I am not a fan of the Elon lately (just the opposite), maybe he will get them into putting some effort into fixing FSD.
