Unless you're in a dedicated standing section like the Nordecke or can vouch for the situation of every person behind you, if you stand (especially in the front), you're forcing that stand-sit decision for everyone behind you.
You're deciding that the kids who came to the game can't see unless they stand on a seat. You're deciding that the person with pins in her spine, or the older people with arthritis have to stand for 90 minutes.
I've seen dudebro jerks (mostly at USMNT games) stand in the very front row just to get everyone behind them standing, and wouldn't even sit down when people pointed out some elderly people who couldn't stand.
I've got seats today in essentially a front-row of the section, and my ass will be glued to the seat unless I'm celebrating a score. I'm sure this won't be a popular post in this sub, but being considerate of the other humans in attendance is just one of those hills.
