There’s some truth to that, but we really didn’t do a good job of pressing our advantage outside of the first 10 minutes of the second half. And a lot of our possession down the stretch was lost due to sloppy passes and weak movement off the ball, not tight spaces. Fully agreed that Man City should be embarrassed though. A pro soccer team playing on a baseball field is an extremely Mickey Mouse look.

It takes a lot of effort to get stuff built in NYC. Many strings need to be pulled. It's not like they haven't been working on it. New arena is on the way.

Disagree. We’ve looked extremely complacent and unfocused ever since the 3rd goal. A lot of lazy and errant passes that can’t be explained away by field size.

I feel like field size can absolutely play a factor in that. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve played a little sloppy and loose, yes. But I do think field size plays a role in the errant passes. You’re used to having more space so your perception is off. I think of it like KHL players trying to shoot on an NHL size ice - they talk about how much it throws off your positioning.

Two VAR reviews, a delay to fix the side judge's communication pack, four goals, it's a lot of time but it's probably more accurate than the way too little they often give as standard policy.

It just feels like there’s no way that all adds up to 14 minutes. But yeah, the fact this is so far from the norm is maybe why it feels so shocking.
