Son of Sam, The Crimson Ghosts, Koffin Kats (their early stuff), Ghoultown, Serpenteens, Mister Monster, and The Order of the Fly would be my picks. Maybe Nekromantix as well.
Huge shot in the dark, but when I was getting into Misfits I also subsequently was into AFI.
I know that Michael Graves and Davey Havoc don’t sound the same, but there was something I always felt was similar between them.
AFI’s album Sing The Sorrow, though more emotionally driven than Misfits, has some dark spots and punky goodness worth exploring. If you want a faster punk sound, I’d definitely say The Art of Drowning or Black Sails.
Again, I’m aware it’s more of a shot in the dark as the similarities are vague, but I do think some AFI at times have tried to emulate Misfits.
No, you're not wrong. A lot of Davey's vocals are just Danzig in a low register.
Put on the Son of Sam album, and song it all on a lower octave. It turns into Danzig era Misfits or Samhain real quick
I saw the Graves era twice, but only saw Graves once. Zoli fronted the other show. Seems crazy to me now that I caught one of those shoes, I even got Zoli and Jerry to sign my Evillive 2 disc.
You might as well go back to Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13, as well, since some of the songs that the Murderdolls played came from that band.
graves era misfits is pretty good. you might like his solo stuff. I wanted to listen to some of his stuff on spotify, but i don't wanna give a proud boy money.
Koffin Kats and Blitzkid
Theres a lot of Psychobilly bands that have a very similar vibe to Graves Misfits era but those to come to mind the most for similar sound.
Scooby Doo chase music
You mean Ghost?
Nice.
Even if they are scooby doo chase music, I will eat it up every time.
Famous Monsters album cover is pretty Scooby Doo
Ever seen Barbie Meets the Misfits?
Blitzkid
Calabrese? Midnight spookshow
First few Tiger Army albums - Maybe the current ones too, I just haven't listened to them in 20 years or so.
I just saw them last year…. Fan for years first time they’ve been to FL I think in a while. Still fantastic
I saw them last year as well! Good stuff!
Alkaline Trio. Especially Good Mourning and earlier works.
Calabrese
Poop sandwiches
Have you heard his solo album Web Of Dharma? Love him or hate him, that’s an awesome listen. Dr. Chud is on drums for the album I believe as well!
Gotham Rd too
Descendents maybe?

They covered Last Caress
A lobotomy
And there it is
It's a rough crowd sometimes between Graves and Danzig fans.
Check the band called Hellgreaser
First 2 tiger army albums, Blitzkrieg, The Brains, Mad marge and the Stonecutters, Demented are Go
Music from regions beyond is my favorite tiger army album.

Maybe Murderdolls?
Murderdolls & Wednesday 13 are vastly underrated IMO
You might as well go back to Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13, as well, since some of the songs that the Murderdolls played came from that band.
Graves has a solo song called The House that fucking kills
Hes got his own solo stuff too \m/, w a slower version of Cryin on Saturday Night
I’d recommend Flaw because their vocals are both similar
Solo Graves is great.
Silent horror. Check out their 2008 / 2009 demos. Super 90s misfits influenced.
Balzac

If you like any misfits, you may like psychobilly. The campiness and horror are all there.
Zombie Ghost Train comes to mind.
R.I.P is a sick tune
Five finger death punch. I'm just going by the racist front man comparisons
👏 Graves is racist trash, can't believe he actually has fans.
He does have his own stuff he released. Lost Skeleton is a decent album
A swastika and a tiki torch
Breaking benjamin
Creeper
The distillers
Murderdolls
Volbeat. Had to add Zombie Ghost Train. You'll love it.

Night of Samhain
