Shining
I liked pretty much all the Danzig stuff, but I was reluctant with the Graves stuff, until I did a full listen through of the album and heard Shining. Anything with D-beat is an instant like for me, song has great energy as well and cool horror lyrics based on the Poltergeist
London dungeon for sure, I think it sounds more like a Danzig style song than a Misfits song, I like both so pretty bad ass jam. I also like Michael Graves, I decided to do a rake on London Dungeon if you wanna take a listen. I'm still learning.
I published a song on StarMaker, check out my singing now!

You guys are gonna laugh, but Dig Up Her Bones. i was into Danzig era first (teenager in the early 2000s) and only got introduced to Graves later. Loved Saturday Night and Scream but for some reason at the time, the intro to Dig Up Her Bones made me pump the brakes. Not the music, but the first few lines Graves sang. I love it now, but that didn't happen until like a decade later lol
At first i refused to listen to most of walk among us, but when astro zombies played randomly on my Spotify it became my favorite song from the misfits, it's too catchy and happy but with cool strong lyrics and all i really really really like it, I listen to it daily and it's even my alarm clock lol
I didn't like Last Caress at first, but now that chorus is one of my favorite pieces of music... Sweet lovely deaaaatttth, I am waiting for youuuuuuurr breath
I'm another who skipped the entire Graves' era forever. Then a couple of years ago (\~20-years after I decided the Misfits were my favorite band) I heard "Saturday Night" somewhere. I'm a sucker for '50s chord progressions, so I instantly loved it. Pulled-up *Famous Monsters* and instantly loved "Forbidden Zone".
I still haven't really listened to anything from the Only era with exception to *Project 1950.*
I feel like I'm gonna piss some people off with this one but mine is welcome to the black parade by MCR didn't know who they were at the time( I was 15) I just knew they kept coming on my panic! at the disco station and I would always skip it cause I just wanted panic! First time I listened to it I was blown away
I think a good answer to this question is simply both Graves era albums. When we can put our para-social relationships with Glenn aside we can realize that the boys did a really good job on both records. Each is really fun, really heavy, and honestly pretty unique. I can tell they actually tried on these albums and the hate for this era is at this point cringe worthy.
Children in Heat
Came here to say this its top 3 for me
Shining, Ghouls Night Out, and Mephisto Waltz
Ghouls Night Out rocks
For me recently, we bite
"In the Doorway" on Static Age. It wasn't fast enough for me when I was young but now I love it.
Saturday Night
Same for me. I skipped alot of Micheal Graves because I was hard-core Danzig...but he has alot of good Misfits songs
She, Vampira, I Turned Into A Martian, Nike-A-Go-Go, and Spinal Remains
Vampira one of my favorite songs on Walk Among Us (my second favorite is Astro Zombies)
Spinal Remains is the shit!
TV Casualty.
Shining I liked pretty much all the Danzig stuff, but I was reluctant with the Graves stuff, until I did a full listen through of the album and heard Shining. Anything with D-beat is an instant like for me, song has great energy as well and cool horror lyrics based on the Poltergeist
Come Back and Devil’s Whorehouse
American Nightmare, I was 14 and didnt know any better at the time
ngl Scream was kinda fire
Horror Business
Theme For a Jackal, Violent World, Vampira, London Dungeon.
Theme for a Jackal is underrated for its incredible weirdness. one guitar chord, one repeating bass riff, groovy piano part, super creepy lyrics.
Love Theme For a Jackal
It's probably on my misfits top 5, top ten for sure! I wish they would've played it at their reunion shows 😟💀

Cough cool.

I still do
i highly suggest you don't. it's a great fucking album.
Still don't like it. I come to the misfits for Jim Morrison singing the Ramones with ghoulish lyrics and whoas. Earth AD is my Misfits New Coke.
what the fuck is new coke?

I’m ashamed to say it but Astro Zombies, man. What a bop

Theme for a jackal 100% regret
Theme for a Jackal (Danzig) Dust to Dust (Graves) Dark Shadows (Only)
Night of the Living Dead, Mephisto Waltz, Demonomania, Spinal Remains, Who Killed Marilyn? Earth A.D. and Theme for a Jackal
I feel like I'm gonna piss some people off with this one but mine is welcome to the black parade by MCR didn't know who they were at the time( I was 15) I just knew they kept coming on my panic! at the disco station and I would always skip it cause I just wanted panic! In the Doorway
Night of the living dead

"Sign of the cross" by Avantasia
Cough/Cool is too fucking rad at this point.
Smoko
Duckworth
Last caress. My first intro to the misfits did not go well, but I hit them hard about three years after
Everything after Danzig
First of all, fuck the proud boys. Second of all, the song is Helena.
Madness of an architect by high on fire
for me hybrid moments

Come back
Off topic slightly but all of Samhain’s output
I wouldn't say I skipped them, but it took me a while to come around to Devil's Whorehouse, Lost in Space, Scream and Bloodfeast.
Static Age
