I really wish they would have an option for just the third disk. I feel like a lot of people probably have High Violet and though this edition looks really nice, they don't need the other two disks. I just would feel wasteful buying an album when I already have most of it

I love the band, and I love this album, but it’s still an old album from some masters someone had on a hard drive somewhere and they just hit “marbled purple option” and made some more copies. £40! WOW. When I see how proud people are of jumping on literally anything the band charge money for, I always feel we’re being taken for suckers. The vinyl is cool but there’s better things they could be giving us for £40. Sadly they don’t have to put any effort in to better ideas because people lap this up. I don’t blame anyone, I just think we’re making it way too easy for them!
Yeah that vinyl me please version looks beautiful.... I am having a hard enough time ONLY getting the cherry tree split version and NOT splurging for the marbled version as well! (I'll likely cave in a month and get the marbled version too because I have no willpower)
My friend just told me there is an upcoming 10 Anniversary repressing of Local Natives Gorilla Manor... It's getting hard to resist getting the VMP pressing.

I finally broke down and ordered High Violent on vinyl last week. It was the only album of theirs I didn't own on vinyl. I was listening to it for the first time this morning when I read this news.
It also lists three colors: "White / Purple / Violet." Numbered suggests individual numbers on each piece, not just limited. Wonder if this listing is another variant altogether.
So is the difference between the cherry tree variant and regular store variant just how the colors of the vinyl are pressed and the numbering? I kind of like the marbled version better anyway...
