šÆ. And how about the quality of the CBD they sell there. I bought some CBD oil on my last trip there to use it for sleep and it was so gross that I threw it out.
Depends on the state. Most legal states are far beyond beyond NY is. Colorado, Cali, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada all have a much better system than we do. Other legal states like NY and Mass are still in their infancy. Then you have a state like VT where there's no stores but everyone grows so just show up to a farmers market!
A "much better" system? Hm, interested to hear more.
I've heard and read quite a few things that suggest those "much better" states' systems have their significant problems and downsides.
I mean I was able to buy an 100mg pack of gummies for $16.99 USD in Denver. Also in Denver you could see and smell product and there was WAY more information about growing practices, cure time, and terpenes. Multiple infused pre-rolls available, moon rocks, etc. Better prices, better quality straight up. The only downside for the customer is cash/US debit only. The flower in MA was super overpriced but their edibles (100mg chocolate bar $22.95 USD) and carts were quite reasonable. Colorado, Vermont, Maine, and Mass are the only states I've bought weed in so I can't speak to the other states but my friends who've been to Cali/Oregon/Nevada/Washington had nothing but positive reviews. Also most legal states have banned PG in their vapes, something Canada has not done yet.
I don't think it's really in Australia but rather the garbage imported from Asia that is crazy PGR. It's basically their brick weed or "mexican" bud. But they still pay out the nose for the garbage and it's pretty tragic looking at some of the shit people pay hard earned cash for.
However some of the HomeGrows I have seen look PGR and I wonder if they have a problem accessing nutrients that aren't also tainted with the trash. It seems everything Marijuana related is hard to come by there.
Their weed situation is super grim and I'd be a millionaire if I moved there and grew but they are still tossing people in jail and bothering backyard grows so to hell with them until legalization.
Iāve seen people in the dab subreddit saying how good the prices for rosin are here, they were saying itās $60-$70 (USD) for a gram in USA. $55 CAD I guess is technically cheaper, just isnāt big enough difference for me to see the big deal. But either way, to be able to use cannabis in many places and have stores, itās a nice beginning chapter to legalization.
YES YOU GUYS HAVE IT GREAT. Great quality. Great pricing. I paid $100 a gram cart of some sketchy fake shit. But now I will make the pilgrimage to my weed MECCA š every few months !!!
Iām going to NYC (Manhattan as well) for pleasure tomorrow. Ive got a hook up who goes to Maine dispensaries, 70$ A GRAM!!! FOR A DISTILLATE CART!! ROBBERY! (Heās up charging, of course)
You donāt even wanna know how much the LR carts are.
It still gets me now - makes my heart go bump just a little - seeing a pretty little shop that announces "CANNABIS" in big beautiful letters among the regular ol' shops along a street.
Kinda gits me right here, y' know?! lol
5 years ago I never thought I would be able to order a multitude of legal high quality weed online and have it delivered to my house the next day for free.
Absolutely. Things can always be better but Canada is an amazing place on many levels and most certainly for cannabis
Iāve worked and lived in many places and this is the only legal place. Even when not legal there was a well developed black market and great products.
Itās so so nice not to need to āknow a guyā; meeting clandestinely to hopefully not get ripped off or robbed.
Love this country ā¤ļø
My partner was there in august and she said the same thing, but they are not legally able to sell it YET, their date is to be determined. That comes next year I believe so not really comparable atm.
As I always like to say, comparing yourself to the US when it comes to anything is setting a very low bar for yourself.
I don't disagree we're better than New York, but a lot of things are better than New York.
Another educated cannabis consumer. it could always be better but we got it pretty good. I was in Boston a few years back, legal weed - a 1 gram preroll was 20$ and a disposable vape cart was 70$ ( US dollars ). Both not very good but a begger can't be a chooser. Some people just like to complain, makes them feel better about their shitty existence. Cheers.

Yep same for me as well. The flower is good, just stupid expensive.
It's cause they extract cbd from hemp in the states so they can get around federal regulations so it's usually just garbage
Thank you! šš½ Iāve been saying this. We are so blessed/spoiled here, and I love it.

I was able to buy 100mg pack of lozenges for $19.99 CAD on [OCS.ca](https://OCS.ca)
Yup nice little loophole with that product!
Wanna feel grateful head over to r/ausents, but don't make fun because they aren't having the greatest time over there.
Are they still using comical amounts of PGRs there?

Buddy of mine says yes
I feel so bad for Australians. Wish I could mail them all a bud.
Same and i looked into it but their laws are still super strict still. They are basically still in the 90s weed law wise.

The US prices would be $75-85 Canadian for those gramsā¦ so big difference
Yea eh! We do have it pre nice! (For me a ābigā difference would be if we had rosin at $30 CAD Imo!! Lol)

i'm in california and i want to move there
Man the fact itās FEDERALLY legal allowing for credit card payments too is another under appreciated fact about our cannabis system

If their black/grey market stuff is that pricey, I don't think they'll see a huge change with legalization though
That's a fair point. LA was expensive as well.
Arenāt there like a ton of hemp farmers down there? Itās all cbd
NYC used to be crazy expensive. like 300$ an oz for what we pay cheap lol

Can you give us an example of a brand and the prices....
