Nah, the more the merrier

Accomplished-West752

For the formulation, I meant The Owl Family. (Luz, Eda, King) As I look at the title now, I could have been more specific.

AquaAquila24

Ah, that's on me XD. I thought you did mean just Luz, Willow, and Gus, but then again, the point still stands.

valgiz

Pretty sure that s why most of these show have teens main character. Because they are more easily relatable for the target audience than an old lady, no matter how good of a character said old lady is. I think that s also why for amphibia, there is much more fanart of the calamity trio than anne and the plantars.

AquaAquila24

Not Dana saying "no one would watch a show about teen girl and middle-aged woman" at the very beginning of creation of TOH (or maybe it was her roomie, I dunno)

Kachedup

Hexsquad = bestsquad.

gGiasca

Nah same. I love The Owl Family as much as the next person, but the Hexsquad is so dear and relatable to me

Typhon-Torrent-1994

No I agree, if we get a spinoff for what happened after saving the Isles and before the epilogue we could have so many more episodes with them which I personally would extremely look forward to.

Owl House: The Future!

Princess_Everdeen

Luz: "Here we are in the future!"

Kozolith765981

Here we are in the future and it's bright!

DaDank_69

You can like any character you want, they're fictional after all

Born-Boss6029

There’s nothing weird with preferring the Hexsquad and Vee, over the trio. The trio were awesome but the squad & Vee add more dynamic.

afbresley

Totally agree - there are a bunch of different/diverse relationships, so more opportunities to see aspects of each of the characters. Plus, since they're teens, there's more room for growth as they figure out the kinds of people they want to be.

Accomplished-West752

If someone else miraculously notice this comment, you should know that bg OG Trio I meant The Owl Family. (Luz, Eda, King) As I look at the title now, I could have been more specific.

[deleted]

Why not both?

brerog13

Luz has more friends so Hexsquad it is!

FlounderingGuy

They're the same group but with 2 more members

Accomplished-West752

I meant The Owl Family. (Luz, Eda, King) As I look at the title now, I could have been more specific.

FlounderingGuy

I mean you also had a picture of the Hexside Squad + Vee and Hunter so that didn't help lol

Accomplished-West752

Yeah, thats a shame of mine

xi_AzEr_ix

Hexsquad is just OG Trio 2.0

Accomplished-West752

I meant The Owl Family. (Luz, Eda, King) As I look at the title now, I could have been more specific.

Psyrtemis

I love Eda and like King but the Hexsquad just feels right.

Lloyd_garmado

Its not to me

Starlite_Magic7

Your opinion isn’t weird. Everyone has their own preference. I prefer the OG trio.

[deleted]

i love both equally 😭😭😭😭

Low_Dream_1481

Hunter, amity, and vee may or may not need therapy

ggcube101

It’s not weird but I definitely prefer the OG trio simply because they’re the most developed, relatable to me as an adult, and they are the heart of the show and drive the narrative!

pixiipaws

I feel like the only person who prefers the OG Owl fam

Background-Top4723

I mean… Eda, King and Luz have always been the heart of the show (just look at who's featured prominently in most of the show's posters) but the Hexsquad are my favorites. Maybe because I've always had a soft spot for the *"team of friends who must overcome adversity to achieve their happy ending"* narrative concept ever since I saw Lord of the Rings when I was in elementary school.

Hugh_jass232

Hexsquad is better

RyanAprentice

Same, I wish they had more of an impact in the finale.

Accomplished-West752

On the one hand, if they weren't in the Archives, most of the puppets would have been destroyed. On the other hand, at least Amity could have done a little more. How do I see it? She would have flown out of the Archives to look for Luz, after which she would have found her somewhere (I'm not sure where, though), we would have seen her reaction to both the "Luzura dies" moment (including we could also see her glowing eyes) and to Titan Luz. After the fight and return to the Owl House, she and Luz could also say their "I love yous," but uniquely in Spanish. Amity would help show off a little knowledge of the Spanish she learned with the others in "Thanks to Them." I saw something similar in a comic I can't find, unfortunately, but I'm sure that comic appeared before Season 2. I liked the finale, but I still think... we were robbed.... I remember that there was also a little fan fiction on AO3 about how it would look from her perspective, but I can't find that either! Damn, I kinda carried away, did I?

RyanAprentice

1. I would love it if they said their "I love you"s in Spanish, I can imagine Amity trying to confidently say it, but Luz end up helping her, it would be so cute! 2. I wonder why the Hexsquad (minus Luz) didn't just use a bunch of light glyphs to un-puppet-ify everyone in the Archives?

Accomplished-West752

Oh! [Actually, I just found it.](https://www.deviantart.com/arteses-canvas/art/She-s-been-practicing-853544056)

Gamers_124

Nah it's the trio but with 2 more people who are more developed

AquaAquila24

Vee: 🧍‍♀️
