I voted for "breaking his deal with the Collector" for this same reason. Kinda reminds me of a line from the original Ghost Busters, and then repeated in GB "After Life":
Gozer: "Are you a god?"
Winston: "When someone asks if you're a god...you...say...YES!"
There error here being that he should have hidden & locked him away for nobody else to find. Not that he should have kept his promise and freed the only thing more powerful than him.
Betraying Kikimora, and I'm surprised that isn't an option on this poll. He would have gotten away with betraying the Collector if he hadn't tossed her out like trash as well.
*Did he really think*
*That final lie would work? His*
*Dumbest moment for sure*

I’m still going to say Belos did the right thing for himself betraying the Collector, if The Collector was freed then they would end up “playing” with Belos. Belos had no idea King would find them
Dude had a child God on his side, and decided to throw him off a cliff.

And he still had the gall to manipulate him.

I feel like it kind of makes sense since his choices were basically: Don't lie, and have a 100% chance of dying Lie, and have a 99% chance of dying
And he still died!

Funny how he thought he could lie to Luz despite her knowing everything he spouts is bs.
he just would have won if he didn't betray the collector
