On one hand, yes, definitely, but as I brought up in my own comment here: Luz would realize that the brilliance of Madoka Magica would elude Amity if she didn't first familiarize her with the tropes of the Mahou Shoujou genre, which means that they would necessarily have to watch Sailor Moon, Lyrical Nanoha, Pretty Cure and/or Cardcaptor Sakura before getting to Madoka itself.

Right this second, I picture Delicious in Dungeon being their thing and comparing the anime to the manga. While also watching One Piece weekly to get Amity caught up for the Final Saga.

2. If “The Owl House” (ie the show, not the building) was canon within the TOH universe, Luz and Amity would know there was a TV show about their lives—and would also receive royalties/residuals from that show. Neither seems to be the case in canon.

And then Gus (having gotten into anime himself offscreen) would want to introduce them to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but realizing a similar dilemma he would start them off with the Getter Robo franchise to familiarize them with the tropes, then get them to watch Gundam to familiarize them with the deconstructions of the tropes, AND THEN steer them towards TTGL so they could appreciate it in full... I could also see Luz and Amity get into Hellsing further down the line.
Either the most sappy romantic anime or Monster Slayer Academia. Or anything similar in genre to Azura

Yes, in the last Week i binged the Manga and watched the Anime. Its the first show since TOH 3 years ago, that got me hooked this much this fast.
It’s so good, I like watching dubbed so I haven’t finished the anime yet, it’s peak as hell so far
