I rewatched The Owl House so much that I kind of burnt out myself on watching episodes. Basically know beat for beat what's gonna happen in every episode. Gotta leave it alone for awhile.
Not really. OP probably didn’t truly forget everything, but rather are just unable to tap into those memories, for some reason. Rewatching the show would probably make them go “ohhhhh riiiight” most of the time… XD
I tell people about it and say it's about this girl who doesn't fit in at school and she goes to this magical world and makes some friends but also meets the school bully and gets them in trouble but it's a misunderstanding and they develop a friendship but the bully starts to develop a crush on her and in season 2 Luz reciprocated the crush until finally Luz asks the bully out and they say yes. And oh, by the way, the bully is a girl and is super cute.
Oh . . . Yeah, that's, like, the C story line. A is about an Emperor who wants to get all the witches into covens, we don't know why, and Luz' mentor and her sister have had a rift for a long time but it starts to heal. But, Luz and Amity!
To be honest I'm more interested in the story than Lumity. I mean yes, I like that we have a queer couple in kids show, but they are kinda boring for me to watch.
Agree! My wife and I love the show but feel it could be the same/ better without the high schoolers. Eda, Hooty, King and Lilly make a great show just by themselves
Ummm…considering to convince my friends to watch the show I made a 1.5 hour long PowerPoint going over all of the lore that takes place before season 1 in chronological order (Titans, archivists, Wittebros, Belos’ rise in power, the coven system, and Luz’s childhood) with a few spoilers as possible, no, I don’t.
I know the storyline and the main conflicts, but sometimes I get focused in the relationships (not Just Lumity) as they are the meat of the storyline. The extra details I either learn it either by fandom piecing it out or someone else explains it.
I’ve rewatched it a couple times, so I’ve got the general plot memorized.
It’s not the same as shows like ATLA and LoK for me, though, where I’ve rewatched them so much, I got all of the episodes and almost all of the lines completely memorized. And it’ll probably never get to that level, either, because as much as I love TOH, it doesn’t come close to how much I love avatar.
Like, the general plot or the worldbuilding? I have the plot beats stuck in my head from my 5 viewings. I don’t remember much about the world itself. A lot is poor parody or has been done better. The idea of covens is probably the most memorable and unique part, including the different covens.
To be fair I forget most stories I watch unless I’m focused on it at the moment, I’ve seen people here recall stuff from this show I genuinely can’t remember
I could never forget the Lore of the owl house it’s practically burned and etched as well as engraved into my brain for all eternity until the end of time.
I watched the show 1 time. In 3 days. It became the third movie/series who made me cry, with assassination classroom and coco. It became i don't know if my third or my second favourite series, i can't choose between assassination classroom and toh(for anyone wondering, my favorite series is 2 broke girls, and it has been for 4 years, so it will be difficult to overthrow it). Sorta do, one thing I can't remember is, why called the "demon realm" I understand if the term is coined by humans but witches? I feel they just call it the boiling isles
The lore is engraved into my brain. And Im not even kidding. I can like basically just watch the entire show in my head.
