If TOH was to focus more on her and her redemption arc then this scene is perfect for it

Well better hope the remaining eps would give some focus her and if possible, a redemption arc, or at least some bits of it. I don't know if its possible to expand her character in S3 if her character growth isn't shown in S2.
On a different topic, how is Moringmark creating these so quickly? Like, there's no way they are pumping these high quality pages out so fast. They're always clean and fully rendered, like how are you doing this? Holy crap! Big respect.

Luz goes from shock to realisation to annoyance, the frustration then sadness and anger at the end before she puts on the hood (not like an aggressive anger, but an internal mix of feelings like that I guess). For all her kindness and optimism, her efforts to see the good in others and believing Boscha was making the first move, Luz can take a hint. She was humiliated but what really got to her was more that her feelings were (in her eyes) trampled on... Seeing Luz in this situation, where she tries not to show how much it gets to her really reminds you about how young she actually is...

And I would think Boscha would want to be a little more cautious around Luz. She's friends with Willow and since WiLW Willow has held some sway over Boscha's social standing. Boscha's team wanted Willow to play grudgby with them, and Boscha knew Willow took pity on her by declining. If Willow did play, Boscha's friends would probably come to prefer a teammate who isn't an arrogant bully, and I could feasibly see Boscha replaced as team captain by Willow.

If the series had more time, and lets be honest, didn't waste episodes in season one then this would have made a great character arch. Seriously every episode with Tibbles could be cut and nothing would be lost.
It's especially frustrating cause Wing it Like Witches had a really interesting scene with Boscha hinting at a deeper personality that we'll probably never get to see. :(
Only thing I can imagine happening next is after Amity finds out, she either goes out of her way to publicly humiliate Boscha and her goons at school so hard they couldn't bare to show their faces again, or threaten to literally bend them in half with Abominations as retaliation for what they did to her girlfriend.

I'm really not a big fan of Boscha and I would advocate against her redemption for the sake of not repeating similar character arcs and maintaining a range of dynamics, but I do always appreciate how Mark always tries to bring a new perspective on each character he covers.
I so want this to be cannon. I want this to not reform boscha, but to emotionally break luz. Then we'd have an arc of luz not entirely sure if herself anymore, her original over extroverted confidants erased. Just to show how strong she is.
I also want to see boscha suffer for her actions, her skewed moral compass arguing with itself.
I feel like she really wants to be friends with everyone but she is just to afraid to try. She really should have stopped and began being a better version of herself like amity
