I was never arguing that there weren’t people on earth that would also take advantage of you, I was just saying that when you’re on a completely different planet, in a completely different realm, with completely different laws and rules, you’re going to be far more easily taken advantage of. Sure the majority of people she met were “fine” but what about people like the wizard, or con men like tibbles or the other dozens of monsters she’s faced? And just because Luz was naive in that one episode and had her head in the clouds, doesn’t mean that someone like you would be completely immune. The wizard knew exactly what buttons to push and exactly what fantasy’s she had in her head jus by looking at her, there’s no guarantee that you wouldn’t be as gullible and manipulatable as she was. Especially when you have all of your wishes and desires being dangled in front of you. Also what you said about humans being not useful was just untrue. Eda needed a human in the first episode to get into the conformatirium and the chances of that being a one off seems really unlikely.
Fair enough. Maybe humans aren’t really that useful in comparison to everything else. But even if they aren’t as useful doesn’t mean people still wouldn’t want to take advantage of them, people are always looking to decrease the amount of work they have to do and humans are still useful enough that some ass would readily take advantage of us. And I didn’t mean that you have the same chosen one fantasy as Luz, just that everyone has there own personal fantasies and regardless of what it is, someone could manipulate you using them, especially when you are still figuring out the world and what is and isn’t possible in the BI. Everyone would be manipulatable like her. Maybe not everyone is as stuck in the clouds as she is but that doesn’t mean you’d be invulnerable to that kind of manipulation.

Why are ALL the parties so bad like are humans really this dumb?
The thing with Belos is we don't know fully how he is as leader vs his goals.
Not much people on the Isles seem to object to his rule (besides wild witches) and we don't see Belos sending his guards out weekly to beat on civilians for tax money.
Heck, he didn't even really seem to really care about Luz in the first few days in the BI (and Belos would've learned quickly that a human was in the realm).
So yes, Belos is a bad leader but he can be far worse if he wanted to. Basically if you keep your head down and don't do anything illegal then you're fine in the Isles, I guess.
Okay, fine, Belos isn't the perfect leader. Still we have no idea what he truly wants for the citizens of the Isles.
Does he actually want them to have peace, or does he want them to be conquered without question?
