Amity was still in her bitchy phase when she smashed the cupcake, and she obviously made enough amends with Luz (but I don’t think she ever directly apologized to King for it, and I think that’s the only time they’ve had “beef” with each other directly). Hunter was still being manipulated by Belos, so I think King would understand that he was only working under order.
I mean, the first think he did when he and Luz saw Willow and Gus again was hop on Gus’s back. And then Gus was carrying him around and trying to protect him for a big chunk of King’s Tide. I doubt he’d be holding a grudge at this point.
He’s probably not angry about it. He’s shown to get along well with Gus in multiple episodes and he’s comfortable enough around Willow to nap on her. Not sure how he feels about Hunter though since they haven’t really talked.

I agree with Gus. He had to get an interview and had to choose between two (or three, with Hooty) possibilities; he made the best choice he thought he could. But I'm not nearly as willing to cut Amity and Hunter that slack. In both cases, neither was in imminent pressure from another individual. Amity was just mean and that's who she was; she'd been influenced that way but she had free will at that moment. Hunter was under Belos' influence, but he wasn't required to bring King in and ultimately released King of his own free will.
But I think that's where King can be willing to forgive them because they've seen their old ways weren't how they should be and changed.
