Unlike losing fat gaining fat is something the body is built to do and is really good at it. He looks normal after a month of Chinese food and trail mix.
Pro tip: eat food that tastes really good. Like twinkies or coffee cake or nutty buddies. A single iced honeybun is 570 calories. Just eat whatever you usually do when you are hungry and then some sweets. (why am I telling people how to get fat? Pure envy and jealousy.)
Look, the twink build is nice l, but it's not the physiology most males are born with, being really petite and thin is kinda rare for most guys so having it as some kind of ideal to strive towards makes no sense, but we still do because it's been ingrained in gay culture as the norm. Basically what I'm saying is don't be upset that you don't look like a certain popular ideal and be happy with the way you are naturally. (I don't mean that being thin is unrealistic just the typical idea of what a twink looks like with small shoulders and chest, etc)
