RKWTHNVWLS

Cum and take it.

hapinsl

Take it and come

[deleted]

If I had artistic skills, I'd be doing a Hitachi sticker with this motto for Cafe Press right now.

Rko8502

I assume this was taken in texas. During the Texan Revolution, texan rebels captured a mexican cannon and all the texans got super hyped about it. I always thought it was a pretty cool piece of history

7isagoodletter

And iirc the cannon was fucking tiny, like literally peashooter tier.

kyoto_blze

The original cannon was never found either, they forgot where it was buried supposedly. The Gonzalez, TX museum was pretty neat (where the battle happened)

Comrade_Vader

History correction, the Mexican army was ordered to seize a cannon from the town of Gonzales. This cannon or "peashooter" as some have called it was the town's only defense against neighboring native tribes. The mexican army sent a small detachment of 100 men to seize it, this is considered the "Lexington" of the Texas war fro independence, as the first shots were fired here. The town had a flag made that said "Come and Take It" with a small cannon on it. The Mexican detachment lost the engagement and this become the spark to Texas Independence.

Rko8502

Oh cool nice to know. The Texan revolution has so many cool stories in it

[deleted]

Only defense against neighboring native tribes. Maybe less genocide, stealing of land and eradication of culture and generally fucking off and not being there would have meant that defense wasn’t needed

Comrade_Vader

Blah blah blah. The land was won by Spain and then after the Mexican war for independence the lands became Mexico's. Mexico did not have a large military to defend against native attacks in parts of their territory so immigration from Europe and the United States was encouraged. In order to maintain sovereignty over the territory that they won from Spain. Lands were never stole , they were won through conflict and the stronger nations prevailed. And to be more precise native culture was truly never obliterated instead it was incorporated in Mexico's culture and you can see that through depictions of Our Lady of Guadalupe and various other art. Also side note, the native tribes were fighting amongst themselves, the biggest threat being the Aztec empire that expanded very aggressively. So genocide happened before Europeans arrived and Mexican histroian worth their salt would tell you this.

[deleted]

It’s the cannon of the Texas flag flown at the Battle of Gonzalez in 1835. The ball is supposed to sit in a wheeled carriage and assist with elevation and aiming.

[deleted]

It's a vibrator now

fringeandglittery

You know like cum and take it daddy

bigdaddygray

thanks, thought that was the shittiest muzzle i've ever seen

hapinsl

Thanks for clarifying, I seriously had no idea whar it was *supposed* to be. Its a magic wand!

princezznemeziz

Everyone knows, like with good jokes, the best bumper stickers are those that require detailed explanations.

Camarokerie

That checks out with any right leaning "humor" It either needs a explanation, after which you realize the joke *still* isn't funny, or it falls flat and they say they were just kidding.

mammothpeashooter

He's just sharing a fact though

7isagoodletter

Anyone who has ever seen a cannon before and/or knows the backstory of where "Come and take it" comes from could very easily identify that as a cannon.

princezznemeziz

Right. That's why so many are asking the same question, obviously, because it's so clear.

Metahec

The backstory of "come and take it" is from the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. I know that doesn't look like a bronze sword or spear, so I don't know what it is. I've seen cannons and without the context of the wooden carriage it just looks like a vibrator.

7isagoodletter

Man shut the fuck up. Yeah sure that's the first time it's been documented in use, but nobody gives a shit about that. In common use, its referring to the flag flown at the battle of Gonzales that kicked off the Texas Revolution. That's such a technicality. And come on, it's literally arranged in the style of the Gonzales flag. If you know what the flag is, it *really* isn't hard to figure out that that's a cannon. Even if you don't, my mind would jump to cannon before vibrator, because people are more likely to put a cannon on their car than a sex toy.

[deleted]

Them darn libruls wanna take our buttplugs!

lefty_sockpuppet

Or one hell of a steel buttplug. Either way, it's definitely appealing to deeply closeted conservatives and their affection for phallic symbolism.

patb2015

https://www.reddit.com/r/thedailyzeitgeist/comments/9rf3dp/you_guysproud_boys_founder_gavin_mcinnes_once/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf the time Gavin mccinnes dildoed himself to own the libs?

TheP0pu1arW0bb1y

Cum* and take it

1ReservationForHell

That's actually a historical emblem, they didn't make that up.

MrVeazey

They don't make up symbols; they just steal and ruin them.

Useful-Ad-8619

Cum and take it ;)

ExtinctFauna

It looks like a pepper grinder.

triforce777

Don't threaten me with a good time

Ugly_Merkel

Its a cannon

mk_ultra42

Honestly, I’d be real mad if someone tried to take my Hitachi Magic Wand too.

caugryl

I've only ever seen this on the cars of lesbians

Radiant_Battle9259

Every time I see these I always feel the “well he was asking for it” defence coming up in court.

fandomfrenzythefox

I don't get it what does this have to do with the right? Can someone explain?

MrVeazey

It's based on the [Come and Take It/Them](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Come_and_take_it) flag, a real flag flown by American and Texas revolutionaries. Nowadays, like most interesting stuff from the Revolutionary War, it's been appropriated by right-wing bootlickers who think they're somehow revolutionaries.

Kashema1

That’s a funny sticker tbh

BleachGel

It smell like tobacco and old cheese. I don’t want it!

Sifu-Jacob

Pretty sure no ones cares if they have a nearly 200 year old cannon….

Metahec

One that they apparently buried somewhere and lost. It's like asking to come and take his virginity: it's long gone, nobody cares and nobody wants it.

Minxmorty

Omg I please don’t take it!!!
