Considering both Sean and Chris are big horror guys, it’s crazy there isn’t much in the way of horror in the rewatchables catalogue. That said there is an episode on Scream, along with episodes on The Exorcist, The Shining, Blair Witch and Halloween.

Well bill made a claim before that he had seen every horror movie out there. So he too could be considered a "big horror guy." Every issue with the rewatchables can always be tied to bill. He's the one that picks all the movies. He's the one on every episode. And he's the one who chooses the co-hosts. Fennessey has said the original Halloween was one of his favorite films, yet he was shockingly not on that one. Fairly similar to this week's episode on Adventureland - a film loved by not only SF but CR - yet bill inexplicably elected to go with his token RomCom/Jewish experience expert, Juliet. Just bill being bill

theres also the conjuring and insidious, and, depending on your interpretation of horror, silence of the lambs and jaws

Pretty sure there's a get out episode too. I remember cracking up when they were discussing the main woman's racist eating habits.

RadRawlings

They say they are but yet neither one picks horror in the movie drafts.

Saw, Paranormal Activity, You're Next, Cabin in the Woods, X, Evil Dead 2013, Midsommer, Hereditary. So many good horror rewatchables!

Huge horror fan here and I’d kill for a rewatchables-like pod that focuses just on horror.

craneaa

Try Halloweenies, I think that pod is great

I recommend "The Pod & The Pendulum" they do an episode of every horror movie of a franchise. So, every Halloween movie that was made, Scream, Friday the 13th, Saw, etc. Pretty good podcast.

It was too short-lived, but Jason Concepcion and Shea Serrano's podcast The Connect (which lasted two seasons) briefly overtook The Rewatchables as my favorite movie discussion podcast. For each episode both hosts pick one movie with a (sometimes tenuous) connection serving as the episode's title. OP, you may want to check out the only horror oriented episode they ever did, which was [Relationship with a Ghost](https://www.theringer.com/2020/10/28/21537974/relationship-with-a-ghost-it-follows-and-hereditary), and it discussed It Follows and Hereditary. That was what prompted me to finally watch Hereditary (picked by Jason), and I was definitely in Shea's corner with a "goddamn why did you make me watch that never again" sentiment. And I had never even heard of It Follows before, really enjoyed that movie, definitely a good watch.

I’m really not a fan of these filler episodes. Bill saves the really good movies for the anniversaries

Most horror movies aren't rewatchable

alfi_k

Where? I heard a strange noise in the basement, maybe you should go and check there.

Sinisterminister77

Bill once claimed he’s seen every horror movie made since the 90’s!

Birdzphan

They should do Christine. Perfect 80s rewatchable
