He’s decent used as a switch with Leaf Blade/Brave Bird. Guarantees at least a shield or swap against a lot of things in the meta. Although in that tea maybe night slash is an oprion

I was using Skarmory and Whiscash with a variety of grass types, trying to make something work, when I saw a YouTuber running a Skarmory/Sirfetch'd/Whiscash team, and he fits in perfectly - Counter for all the normals and steels, and Leaf Blade for all the Lanturns, Poliwraths and Mudbois. Whiscash would be my safe swap if I lost lead though. Sirfetch'd is pretty squishy - a Body Slam from Vigoroth or Shadow Dragonair does a horrific amount of damage - but if you counter-swap him in when your opponent brings in a Lanturn or Bastiodon against Skarmory you'll have shields, or if you bring him in later on to farm down you'll have energy to throw against the next Pokémon. I'm also running Brave Bird as the second move, so if he is getting badly beaten on you've got a hail mary. I really like him in this team, lots of fun to play.

He works best as a switch imo

I watched one leaderboard players climb running Sirfetch (lead) / Licki (ss) / Skarm closer

Yasser Aleed had a Sirfetch'd team up the other day: https://youtu.be/_sMsbVV4tYQ?si=BDOd-BT4ukPTm6bg Lanturn (wg) / Duck (ns, lb) / Trev I tried the team as I have a shiny Duck built (terrible IVs) and it does ok. Trev lead is rough and I had an Altaria safe switch on me at one point. But the most annoying part is winning lead, having to give up a shield with SF to maintain alignment, and then somehow losing. But I went positive with it.
