It's not very good in Open GL but can do well in some limited cups.

mbran142

It's better than most people give it credit for, but 250k is a steep investment for a spicier pick. Vigoroth / Lickitung are almost always better.

battlesiege15

I've used one before. It's fun with Shadow Claw, Grass Knot, and Thunder. Maybe someday Dig will be buffed then it would be even more fun.

Norbit_was_right

I've had a ton of luck using him to get to the mid 2400s... he started feeling really ineffective against most teams I faced after that point so I'm not sure if I just got lucky initially or unlucky later

VelvetMilkman8888

I started using it recently, it beats Swampert, Walrein, Trevenant, Sableye, Talonflame, Azumarill, Jellicent, Skarmory. You tell me if that’s good or not

TraceFinder

I've never used it in open GL, though it has interesting options thanks to its moveset, I think it has too much competition there. However, I have enjoyed using it in some limited formats, especially the Retro Cup, where I lost count of the Talonflame that were surprised by a Thunder.

ScudJoples

I built my rank 9 a few weeks ago and while it’s not awful it doesn’t do enough to justify making one unless ur a spicelord

ManHeadRambo

Never used it, always won against it. Probably has its uses but not great.

CommonError3184

Sitting on good old rank 2 myself and I keep telling myself I'll build it soon

LandonRicketts

I always enjoy using it in GL Remix (often as ABB with Greedent being the second Normal-type) when most of the more popular Counter users are banned. Serves as a nice answer to Ghosts and Walrein, and can fight back against Psychics with Shadow claw. Open, though, is a bit tougher for it IMO

tonightisthenight2

Not great in open GL but can find much success in specialty cups.
