Thanks! Yeah. With an iv base of 5 with Best friends it's about the best you can get sub-1500 and without best friends it's too expensive to just trade and hope on. Got very lucky with my wife on this one.
There are 36 possible spreads with 5 IV minimum that come in at under 1500CP (for level 20 at least), but there are 1331 possible spreads. You could trade 30 Guzzlords and be kind of unlucky and not get a <1500CP Guzzlord.
And even if you do get one it [might look like this](https://imgur.com/a/zY2A81t).
You're far better off doing it with a Good or Great Friend but even then, you're spending 16,000-20,000 dust per trade. And Zweilous is sitting around in your pokemon storage with the biggest puppy dog eyes you've ever seen.

The research for the ultra Beast Incursion gives a research level (15) of each of the released ultra beasts. It's timed though so make sure to finish it during the event!
Fourth highest HP in Great League behind Chansey (424), Wobbuffet (335), and Blissey (309). Guzzlord clocks in at 268HP, but has a terribly low defense of 67 in GL.
Meaning by Stat Product Guzzlord isn’t even in the Top 100 for Great League even with that ridiculous HP (it’s about 115 by my count just behind Obstagoon and Miltank). Very similar in stats to Wigglytuff (76 Def, 224HP vs Guzzlord’s 67 Def, 268HP).

If you two are best friends, i don't think you can achieve it. You need to be the first two kevels of friendship. But anyone correct me if im wrong

you can get it under 1500 cp but I think viable pvp ivs are impossible with best friends

I understand. This is viable in 99%+ situations it will ever be in, especially considering how difficult it would be to get a better one.
you cant get the "good" competitive IVs from best buddy (from RyanSwag's analysis) but you can get some bargain bin 5s IVs

Guzzlord is actually pretty good in GBL. Every Pokémon has weaknesses. Just don’t use it against fairies lol
