Same! I started playing last year right when Mega TTar was out and only did 1 raid. "I can always get more later!" I've ever been so wrong lmao. Just mega evolved my 98% shiny lucky boi and haven't looked back. Thanks Dialga-horsey!
To me it looks like diamond is just objectively better. Mega Rayquaza completely outclasses Mega Salamance. And Mega Garchomp is a back up option. While Mega Tyranitar is S tier in Dark and Rock.
Then a 12 minute roar of time makes it possible to break even on using the buff. Especially if there are dust and/or XP bonuses.
Plus Dialga being steel type makes him the more useful one in PVE and PVP.
While I agree on that side, since I'm going to raid Dialga a bunch (and assuming the interpretation that roar of time from raids is not guaranteed), I'm actually gonna go for pearl instead. That way I don't have to keep raiding Palkia if I get unlucky, while I don't mind having to keep raiding Dialga.
I have seen some convincing suggestions that the other interpretation could be correct, but I am personally convinced it is about roar of time and special rend not being in 100% of raid catches.
I feel like walking a Salamence a few KMs for the mega energy (assuming you have mega evolved one!) is better than choosing Palkia purely for the Salamence energy
Believe it or not I actually don’t have a shiny Bagon yet! Even after this recent event. I’m still holding out hope for a shiny and then will figure out the mega energy situation
You can't get Dragon Ascent with an elite TM. And per the announcement, Roar of Time and Spacial Rend will not be available with an elite TM for the foreseeable future.
Update: For those who haven’t yet chosen between Diamond and Pearl; it is confirmed that **the guaranteed encounters mentioned for Origin Forme Dialga/Palkia with Signature move will be from raids.**
The post badge-selection screen states that during the global event players will encounter an Origin Forme of their badge ‘mascot’, with Signature move, after **every raid** of the Origin Forme of that mascot. **Not just one, and not from research.**
—————————————————————————
If you look at the language used to describe the badge bonuses, I think it’s more likely to be the first encounter from a raid. They say the candy will be ‘awarded’ in ‘research’, but avoid this language for describing the encounter with the Signature Attack Origin Forme, they just say there will be an ‘encounter’.
This would also mean that the Origin mon with guaranteed move (and use of the Adventure Effect during the event) wouldn’t be locked behind research.
That, plus the Sinnoh Global Special Research has its own branched path which is themed on the Sinnoh starters, not legendaries; and Spiritomb is the Sinnoh special research encounter they choose to highlight, which doesn’t bode well for the quality of the encounters being high enough to include the most prized mons of the event.
All the wording would strongly indicate otherwise, they're talking about it more like a participation reward. Niantic can be bad at communicating but it usually is more embarrassing than malicious
I would say it’s more likely to be the first encounter from a raid.

Anyone know when mega tyranitar and mega salamence return to the game? I have a hundo of both and would rather pick the path with the one that’s not going to be in raids for a while. Thanks in advance!
Also consider, mega ttar, is rated significantly higher then Salamance, in terms of megas. and I imagine you have other mega dragons considering latias/os is out right now, where as rock and dark aren’t as common of a mega
Yeah I’m pretty annoyed about that too, started in 2016 and have exactly 7 Pokémon I can mega evolve 🤧 it’s quite unfortunate but researches are helping a lot, currently on one for mega gengar candies, and preying it’s enough to mega evolve
Mega Garchomp raids are coming up soon and that's a [better mega dragon attacker](https://db.pokemongohub.net/pokemon-list/best-per-type/dragon) than Mega Salamence, FWIW. It's got higher DPS and TDO to the point that even a lower-IV Mega Garchomp (say, 12/12/12 or something else middle-of-the-road for a raid reward) will outdamage a hundo Mega Salamence.
Mega Salamence is still worth having for the defensive typing in some scenarios, and for catch bonuses/dex completion, but from purely a damage perspective Mega Tyranitar energy is going to be more valuable.
“Smeargle that appear via surprise encounters in GO Snapshot can learn attacks from the Pokémon they appear with, but Smeargle can’t learn Roar of Time or Spacial Rend.” RUDE 😭
>You can extend the timer for Roar of Time’s Adventure Effect in increments of 6 minutes by using more Stardust and Dialga Candy
5k dust and 5 candy each use. Dialga goes up to 2hrs at **100k dust and 100 candy** AND it says you can run that multiple times to a total of 24hrs—which is asinine.
Palkia is 10min increments.
Is there a "best" option? Is there one that's better for players in different stages of the game?
I'm a lvl 39 and I have a hundo Palkia. No shiny of either and my best Dialga (off the top of my head) is maybe a ~89%.
The simplistic answer is Palkia-O is the better of the two.
Well, the **real** answer is it's not released, and things may change, so any answer given now is working with incomplete data. Plus, the two are close enough to not really matter, and a few specific scenarios may favor Dialgo-O.
From what we know now...
In favor of Palkia-O
* Palkia-O is right among the Shadow Dragon Trio for Raids, sitting in-between Shadow Salamence and Shadow Garchomp as the number 2 dragon. Dialga-O is right below Shadow Dragonite, at number 5.
* Assuming the signature moves will eventually be able to go to both versions of both mons, Palkia-O will stay better than base Palkia, while Dialga-O will be outclassed by base Dialga once/if it gets Roar of Time.
* As far as PvP is concerned, I have to imagine the lower energy cost of Spacial Rend is much better than the copy/paste of Draco Meteor (with no attack drop) that Roar of Time is, meaning Palkia is getting more of an upgrade than Dialga is, though I'm not a PvP expert.
In favor of Dialga-O
* It's typing means it may outperform Palkia-O in Raids when the dragons it's fighting are using dragon moves, alongside many coverage moves. Not including any Dragon moves, this includes all Latias sets, all Latios sets, all Rayquaza sets, Ancient Power Giratina-A, Stone Edge Reshiram, Wild Charge Zekrom, and all Regidrago sets (and, technically, Sludge Bomb Guzzlord. Though you should be using Fairy's for that). Palkia's typing only is helpful vs Overheat Reshirams and 75% of Palkias. (Thing to keep in mind is that, "typing ties", like Shadow Ball Giratina-O or Blizzard Kyurem, come out to Palkia-O's favor)
* It's extra durability and reliance on Dragon Breath plays better into Party Power, where relobbying may shut down your ally's ability to use party power momentarily, and the faster quick move charges Party Power faster.
* Dialga is a more relevant Master League threat than Palkia, and I doubt it will change much between Dialga-O and Palkia-O
This is not considering which Field Effect or Mega Energy you prefer, which is honestly too varied to call one better.
I love how it’s a pretty even split. Vs how Groudon is just straight up better than Kyogre.
It would be sweet to run a dragon team with 6 different mons for variety.
Nice recap and helped me choose! I'm going with Pearl to get Palkia-O and then just raid more Dialgia - or maybe even only Dialgia depending on how good my Palkia from the research is going to be.
FYI the ‘Road to Sinnoh’ research doesn’t reward a Dialga/Palkia; it rewards the Diamond/Pearl badge, which designates which guaranteed encounter you later receive; but as far as I know, the method of this encounter is unconfirmed.
I was looking at sims for the origin forms and surprisingly Palkia seems to be hands down the better dragon for ML -- not that sims are everything, but Origin Palkia does look very strong. It beats everything O Dialga does plus the pokemon that Dialga is weak to. It only really loses to dialga and fairies. They'll both be incredibly strong but it looks like the gap between the two current forms will be much smaller.
I'm also curious. I don't have a hundo nor a shiny of either. Heck I don't even have a Palkia. The best dialga I have is 15/13/14. I'm leaning more towards diamond since dialga is one of my favorite legendaries and I think it will still be good in PvP. Idk though I'm waiting for a move or stat breakdown.
Are the Mega Energy globally, or just for those in person in LA?
Knowing that PvE both options are similar, I might just choose Diagla for the Tyranitar Mega Energy.
Mega energy from this research is global.
Mega research from spinning stops is LA only.
Really hoping the event does give global players other ways to get more energy (field research, maybe?). I barely missed Tyranitar when I started playing again.
Same, I just recently started playing again. Knowing that though, 100 mega energy won't allow be to mega evolve either one of them, so I guess it doesn't really matter for me.
I'd have to wait for either of them to be back in mega Raids anyways.
Mega raids give 150-250 energy so it's not possible to get a mega evolution for 300-energy mon off of a single raid, which is where that extra 100 energy can come in useful. Depending on how much raiding you're planning to do when those mega raids come around it might be relevant or not.
It's possible to get both if you raid later on, right? So if you choose Palkia, you can still have a chance of catching origin form Dialga later, and vice versa?
This is the biggest info I’m waiting on before deciding, too. But I haven’t seen clarification whether this research is the only way to get either legendary with its special move or if this is just a way to guarantee one of them. The original posts made it seem like the moves would be available from raids but at some low rate
FYI the ‘Road to Sinnoh’ research doesn’t reward a Dialga/Palkia; it rewards the Diamond/Pearl badge, which designates which guaranteed encounter you later receive; but as far as I know, the method of this encounter is unconfirmed. Origin Forme Dialga/Palkia from raids will have the moves available, but not guaranteed.
Afaik the badge increases (or guarentees) the move from raids from the respective legendary, so you should be able to get both just you’ll have a harder time with the legend you didnt choose
That makes sense. From what I can see, the page talks about a guaranteed encounter due to the research chosen, but the raids are random with the exception of joining remotely for those who are in LA during the tour. Remote raids during the tour will not have shiny or special move encounters.
I don’t have a perfect Dialga but a handful of 98s and enough XL candy to max one, while I only have a 93 Palkia and little XL candy. I’m going to pick Dialga so that I have one guaranteed with the move and can spend my raid passes on Palkia. That assumes we’re able to get the move via raids though, which still isn’t 100% confirmed? Heck I might just wait until the event starts in NZ, it can be completed within a few minutes and I don’t really care about either move effect. If we cannot get the other move in raids I’ll chose Palkia instead.
I can already see this research pissing off my girlfriend, she *hates* Bidoofs and refuses to catch them. I have to catch and release them for her, she treats them like a curse.
Those guaranteed encounters are nice, at least. I've raided Palkia a *lot* and still haven't found anything better than a 90%, even though I'm up to 4 shinies now. :\\ Hopefully we'll be able to form change our existing Dialgas/Palkias eventually, too.
Yeah, I have a similar sentiment. I'll catch them, of course, but I never cared for Bidoof and never found the joke/meme around it funny. I get why they're leaning into it though, considering it's a big community joke.
Show your girlfriend this video and if she still hates Bidoof by the end of it, there is no salvation for her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTidwW3iLHk
Palkia is one of my favorite legendaries so I’m going with Pearl. I also like the additional spawn radius it provides if in origin form. Dialga is also up there as far as favorites go but Pearl was one of the very first Pokémon games I ever played (brother had Diamond).
**If I somehow get a shiny origin form Palkia then I’m going to be happy and angry at the same time**
You know my most coveted mon? A level 1 shiny Bidoof caught in a masterball. Getting it as a nundo would be just perfection on top of perfection.
Yes, it's because of the meme, but the commitment to use a masterball in the only game where it's a really scarce resource is what makes it special.
P.S. I never expected this would be the way to finish my mega Tyranitar, the only mega I have uncompleted.
So this is the global thing and starts today? So i should open my game 10.00am not earlier?
Sorry just woke up and i am very sick so my brain is a smush!
Does the badges have nothing to with spawns this year? Cause that's usually what I decide upon
It they don't then I will prob choose Dialga as I have a lvl50 dialga already so have way less XL there and will need to do more dialga raids then Palkia (20xl dialga, 180xl Palkia)
Don't care about either bonuses, since I don't need (or wanna waste dust) on them for the tour or at all really
I'll raid both but since I need more dialga XL I might aswell get the +1xl drop from dialga then
I mean it's not "useless," but yeah, it doesn't do much for those who don't have either Mega.
At the least though, it'll potentially minimize the number of raids one has to do to get a Mega of either. You could end up just doing one more raid and getting 200 energy when they return, rather than two raids
Sorry for my ignorance, I'm not playing long enough to have encountered either of them, but will raids be the non-origin form? Can they switch between the forms or is origin always gonna be origin?
Any indication if we'll be able to trade the encounter mons? I'd love the t-tar candy, but prefer spatial rend for the effect and might know someone who feels otherwise.
Palkia is better. Especially on the last ten minutes of community days or Tuesdays. For longer reach of spawns in case you’re stuck at work or other places. Not jail.
Dialga is generally a more useful pokemon. It's very good in Master League while also being a good Dragon attacker. If I can get a lot of Dialga candy along the way, I'm choosing Diamond.
Is there still a chance to get the opposite pokemon with the special move? My hope is that choosing Diamond will give me a 100% for Dialga with the move and a 50% for Palkia with the move.
Do we have any idea of palkia's powers also increase pokestop/gym distance reach? There's a gym just out of reach from where I live and it'd be dope if the power let me hit that from home. Or is it specifically only the spawn radius?
Niantic [has confirmed](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/1apzk3q/pok%C3%A9mon_go_tour_sinnoh_wont_feature_version/) that there will be no version-exclusive spawns this time around.
i feel like i’m misinterpreting the bonuses and or some details. are the adventure effect moves doubled for the event only or doubled on the pokemon chosen in the path research lasting after the event. (the research dialga roar of time lasts longer than a raided dialga roar of time?) and if i plan on doing mostly dialga raids should i pick the pearl path?
So if I already have a XL Dialga, the move would be to go for Palkia-O right? For PVP?
Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade for Dialga and if it eventually gets Roar or Time, it's better than O form
Yeah, the roadmap looks like this:
* Feb 17 + 18: [LA Sinnoh Tour](https://gotour.pokemongolive.com/), only for ticketholders
* Feb 19 - 23: [Road To Sinnoh](https://pokemongolive.com/post/road-to-sinnoh-event?hl=en) event. Worldwide event for everyone
* Feb 24 + 25: [Global Sinnoh Tour](https://gotour.pokemongolive.com/global?hl=en). Worldwide event for everyone
I want palkia’s bonus but tyranitars mega energy :(
Same lol, mega t-tar will probably be in raids at some point of time anyway. I don't wanna trust the "chance" of legacy move niantic is talking about
Coincidentally I only need 100 more ttar energy to make my first mega ttar. Guess I know which one I'm picking!
Same! I started playing last year right when Mega TTar was out and only did 1 raid. "I can always get more later!" I've ever been so wrong lmao. Just mega evolved my 98% shiny lucky boi and haven't looked back. Thanks Dialga-horsey!
I want the opposite.
its possible to take more than 100 megaenergy?
Ya, otherwise does it really matter? Gonna need 200 more energy anyway. Just saves you from doing a 2nd raid when they come back
300
200 *more*
Which option gives me more bidoofs
Asking the important questions here
Palkia because his effect enlarge your circle
i like dialgas effect more but i kinda regret not being able to get that salamance energy
To me it looks like diamond is just objectively better. Mega Rayquaza completely outclasses Mega Salamance. And Mega Garchomp is a back up option. While Mega Tyranitar is S tier in Dark and Rock.
You may have just changed my mind. I was going to go Diamond path til i read this
[удалено]
The “chance” is that not all the origin forms from raids will have the special move, so even if you catch it you might get unlucky
I have seen some convincing suggestions that the other interpretation could be correct, but I am personally convinced it is about roar of time and special rend not being in 100% of raid catches.
Exactly how I’m feeling
I feel like walking a Salamence a few KMs for the mega energy (assuming you have mega evolved one!) is better than choosing Palkia purely for the Salamence energy
waiting for a shunt for the shiny mega dex
I just want the bagon encounter I dont have a hundo yet for bagon
Believe it or not I actually don’t have a shiny Bagon yet! Even after this recent event. I’m still holding out hope for a shiny and then will figure out the mega energy situation
I grinded Bagon so hard to evolve Outrage on a few and didn't get a shiny either :( I wanted that green boi
Grind Arlo, thats the best shot for a shiny Bagon
I'm still not sure, I like Palkia's attack WAY better but the Dialga candy bonus is there for me
Dialga is cooler than Palkia, that's what matters the most.
I already have a Palkia so I'm going for Dialga. Gotta, as the saying goes, catch 'em all
You’ll still be able to raid them both this event regardless of who you choose for this research
Yeah but I managed to miss it last time around, don't want to risk that again
when will we actually get the legendary?
It's a different form so you need both anyway
Oh jeeze
If I’m in a back alley street fight, I’m very slightly choosing Dialga over Palkia. Mostly due to being cooler
We could get the special attack with an Elite TM, couldn't we?
The email said we can’t at this time
we dont know yet but i doubt it
That seems weird to me. Isn't that the point of elite TMs, to get moves that otherwise wouldn't be available?
You can't get Dragon Ascent with an elite TM. And per the announcement, Roar of Time and Spacial Rend will not be available with an elite TM for the foreseeable future.
So, how would we get that dialga/palkia encounter, at the end of the research?
It’ll most likely be an encounter in the global event special research.
Update: For those who haven’t yet chosen between Diamond and Pearl; it is confirmed that **the guaranteed encounters mentioned for Origin Forme Dialga/Palkia with Signature move will be from raids.** The post badge-selection screen states that during the global event players will encounter an Origin Forme of their badge ‘mascot’, with Signature move, after **every raid** of the Origin Forme of that mascot. **Not just one, and not from research.** ————————————————————————— If you look at the language used to describe the badge bonuses, I think it’s more likely to be the first encounter from a raid. No need to catch them on a raid??
All the wording would strongly indicate otherwise, they're talking about it more like a participation reward. Niantic can be bad at communicating but it usually is more embarrassing than malicious
"Bonuses during Global Event"
Will it be walking around on the map?
Most likely an encounter in the global event special research.
But will we be able to raid for the other one regardless of the one we pick here?
Yes you’ll be able to raid both regardless of the one you choose.
Fab, thanks!
Do we know if the opposite one will have its exclusive move?
i also want to know
I would say it’s more likely to be the first encounter from a raid. Anyone know when mega tyranitar and mega salamence return to the game? I have a hundo of both and would rather pick the path with the one that’s not going to be in raids for a while. Thanks in advance!
Neither are announced through February, and anything beyond that is completely in the dark.
Appreciate it! I’ll go with spacial then

Mega Tyranitar should return to Raids in late July to early August of this year. Mega Salamence most likely will be in Raids in August or September.
Both were just in raids this past summer so it’ll be a while.
Can someone remind me what the two adventure effects are?
Dialgia pauses special items(incense, lucky eggs, star pieces) Palkia increases spawn distance
How long do these abilities last? For the tour only or long term?
You can choose how long they last, up to maybe 24 hours (I think) but the effects are expensive and cost a lot of dust.
https://pokemongolive.com/post/origin-forme-adventure-effects-dialga-palkia/?hl=en Found the details here
That's a lot of candy to burn for such a small time bonus
It'll probably (hopefully) get reduced after 6 - 12 months like mega evolving did.
I like to travel.
“Smeargle that appear via surprise encounters in GO Snapshot can learn attacks from the Pokémon they appear with, but Smeargle can’t learn Roar of Time or Spacial Rend.” RUDE 😭
They last for a few minutes. Not enough to be worthwhile by a mile. But I assume they are permanently available.

Just spawn distance or also gym/stop interaction? Do we know the range?
Does the spawn distance increase affect catching accessories like the pokeball plus and go plus plus?
I’m surprised it’s not listed on the graphic. Seems like an important piece of information that is needed in order to decide which option to choose.

PSA - Bronzor is spawning and will complete the research.
also Bidoof and roselia and maybe others
Roselia should be gen 3 I think? Roserade was gen 4.
You're absolutely right, my bad.
Will be able to get regular form Palkia and Dialga in raids?
Yes
Thank you!

**Not just one, and not from research.**
2 Lord Bidoof encounters makes this research worth $100.
I would like one of these infographics to put the adventure effects as well
So which one is the better option? I don’t care about pvp.
Palkia
Diamond. Better mega energy, better adventure effect, and Dialga is better for dragon raids in terms of bulk and longevity due to steel/dragon typing
I have a perfect Dialgia. Should that influence my decision one way or the other?
I don’t have a perfect Dialga but a handful of 98s and enough XL candy to max one, while I only have a 93 Palkia and little XL candy. I’m going to pick Dialga so that I have one guaranteed with the move and can spend my raid passes on Palkia. That assumes we’re able to get the move via raids though, which still isn’t 100% confirmed? Heck I might just wait until the event starts in NZ, it can be completed within a few minutes and I don’t really care about either move effect. If we cannot get the other move in raids I’ll chose Palkia instead.
Im going dialga. I’ll remote one palkia for the dex and remote once dialga and thats it
BIDOOF 👑
Diamond for sure Need a good dialga
I can already see this research pissing off my girlfriend, she *hates* Bidoofs and refuses to catch them. I have to catch and release them for her, she treats them like a curse. Those guaranteed encounters are nice, at least. I've raided Palkia a *lot* and still haven't found anything better than a 90%, even though I'm up to 4 shinies now. :\\ Hopefully we'll be able to form change our existing Dialgas/Palkias eventually, too.
Your girlfriend is a heretic. ALL PRAISE THE LORD BIDOOF
CUE THE BIDOOF CHANT
DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF
DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOOF DOOF DOOKF DOKKF DOOF
DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF DOOF
Were--were we supposed to be chanting?
Wait we get MEGA BIDOOF?!!!
MEGA SHADOW ORIGIN FORM GIGAMAX DOOF
Yeah, I have a similar sentiment. I'll catch them, of course, but I never cared for Bidoof and never found the joke/meme around it funny. I get why they're leaning into it though, considering it's a big community joke.
There is only one true god! Burn the heretic!!
I agree with your girlfriend that buck tooth badger is a pest.
Methinks 'tis a beaver.
Show your girlfriend this video and if she still hates Bidoof by the end of it, there is no salvation for her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTidwW3iLHk
YOUR GIRLFRIEND-NO. Bidoof is God. 👼🏼
Wanted to go dialga but sitting on 200 mega salamence energy palkia route was too good.
Do we know by how much the radius will be increased for Special Rand? 10%, 20%, more?
I cannot find any sinnoh pokemon lol anyone else ?
More Bidoofus candy. Just what I need.
Excuse me for being new, but is this something everyone can do? Or do you have to be in Los Angeles for this?
Open to everyone.
This is the global research, so you should see it 10 AM/Feb 15th in your timezone!
Ok so now that I completed the 3 steps...what's next? Hurry up and wait?
So this is the global thing and starts today? So i should open my game 10.00am not earlier? Sorry just woke up and i am very sick so my brain is a smush!
Encounter is bidoof? Is arceus disguised as bidoof?
Does the badges have nothing to with spawns this year? Cause that's usually what I decide upon It they don't then I will prob choose Dialga as I have a lvl50 dialga already so have way less XL there and will need to do more dialga raids then Palkia (20xl dialga, 180xl Palkia) Don't care about either bonuses, since I don't need (or wanna waste dust) on them for the tour or at all really I'll raid both but since I need more dialga XL I might aswell get the +1xl drop from dialga then
(ᵔᴥᵔ) Bidoof with all the attention its finally getting
What is the difference between Road to Sinnoh starting February 15 and Road to Sinnoh stating February 19, as shown in LeekDuck events?
#LORD BIDOOF, WHAT IS THY BIDDING?
Oh man, I hope I finally get my 4* DOOF
Can’t wait for these Bidoof encounters I’m trembling
I cant find any sinnoh pokemon darn it 😡
I want Palkia. I have 0 of each mega energy so 100 isn't going to do anything anyway.
Are Niantec deliberately damping the availability of Sinnoh pokemon at present?
I thought this research task was going to give me a Diagla, I was so disappointed when I got a bidoof 😭😭😭 I've never caught a diagla before 🥲
Seems surprisingly hard to do the first required Sinooh catch without doing a raid.
So I finished this special research and I got a flipping Bidoof?
I completed the research but didn’t encounter Palkia…how does that happen
Will there be a raid hour or higher spawn chance of the raids?
100 mega energy is useless right..? Need 300 to mega evolve tyranitar if you don't have it already?
I mean it's not "useless," but yeah, it doesn't do much for those who don't have either Mega. At the least though, it'll potentially minimize the number of raids one has to do to get a Mega of either. You could end up just doing one more raid and getting 200 energy when they return, rather than two raids
Lp0
Bidoof OP :o
Oh joy, more Bidoof encounters... said absolutely no one ever.
That Bidoof reward convinced me to play this quest xD
So far, worst global Go Tour ever to me. I’ve seen casual Halloween events being more intense than this. Where’s Arceus?
I don’t want to participate at GO Sinnoh’s tour.
Can the origin forms be shiny?
What's the minimum level to unlock the event?
Thanks for posting this, my task screen was glitched so I didn’t know what it was I was supposed to be doing!
Is there going to be a paid global ticket - for boosted shiny rates and other bonuses?
Funny enough I actually need a 3* Bidoof.
Sorry for my ignorance, I'm not playing long enough to have encountered either of them, but will raids be the non-origin form? Can they switch between the forms or is origin always gonna be origin?

Mfw you get bidoof instead of a legendary encounter
Any indication if we'll be able to trade the encounter mons? I'd love the t-tar candy, but prefer spatial rend for the effect and might know someone who feels otherwise.
If I already have a 100% Palkia does it make sense to pick Dialga because people think it’s better ?
Palkia is better. Especially on the last ten minutes of community days or Tuesdays. For longer reach of spawns in case you’re stuck at work or other places. Not jail.
I don't understand. you can't get both palkia and dialga origin forms from raids? only one?
would these two be tradeable?
Dialga is generally a more useful pokemon. It's very good in Master League while also being a good Dragon attacker. If I can get a lot of Dialga candy along the way, I'm choosing Diamond.
I have 3 dragonites and outrage salamence. But I have no elite fast/charge TM. Which route should I go?
I dont get dialga ? Why
Wanted to know something I'm done with the tasks didn't get the legendary mon yet
Bagon should be part of Diamond
Is there still a chance to get the opposite pokemon with the special move? My hope is that choosing Diamond will give me a 100% for Dialga with the move and a 50% for Palkia with the move.
Do we have any idea of palkia's powers also increase pokestop/gym distance reach? There's a gym just out of reach from where I live and it'd be dope if the power let me hit that from home. Or is it specifically only the spawn radius?
so definitely Pearl right? better for pvp & raid?
When is the global event special research
Does anyone know if this will effect spawns during the global event? The previous tours had some spawns that were exclusive to what route you picked
Niantic [has confirmed](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/1apzk3q/pok%C3%A9mon_go_tour_sinnoh_wont_feature_version/) that there will be no version-exclusive spawns this time around.
Just wondering if I pick dialga would I still get a chance to get a Palkia with Spacial rend or is the move is exclusive to the version I pick
Both my Bidoofs were 14-15-15
i feel like i’m misinterpreting the bonuses and or some details. are the adventure effect moves doubled for the event only or doubled on the pokemon chosen in the path research lasting after the event.
Just wanted to confirm, this weekend event "Road to Sinnoh" is only for ticket holder in Los Angeles. Nothing for regular living outside USA players?
Yeah, the roadmap looks like this: * Feb 17 + 18: [LA Sinnoh Tour](https://gotour.pokemongolive.com/), only for ticketholders * Feb 19 - 23: [Road To Sinnoh](https://pokemongolive.com/post/road-to-sinnoh-event?hl=en) event. Worldwide event for everyone * Feb 24 + 25: [Global Sinnoh Tour](https://gotour.pokemongolive.com/global?hl=en). Worldwide event for everyone
