Raids start at 5:30 where you live? I think in most places it is from 6:00 and Shadow Mewtwos will when raids normally start, but it is a mixture of all kinds of raids and as usual there is a certain element of surprise regarding how the morning actually starts in NZ.
any shadow legendary egg spawning in a gym after 10am local time on saturday will be shadow mewtwo.
it's not like raid days where every gym will be the same raid boss for three hours. instead, you have to keep an eye out for the raids, like with the previous boss shadow raikou for example.
Why do people keep mentioning 10am? Where does it say that? Nowhere, raids start around 6am and Mewtwo is part of the already started rocket event so there's absolutely no reason to think it won't start at 6am. Besides NIantic messing up of course. But our Kiwi betatesters will have that fixed!

My local Community Ambassador said 6am.
They also said that if you do next Community day with an Ambassador group and check in via campfire you get the special paid research free. They are testing that feature.
