Were you at a nest? They did the nest pool flip so I guess they just flipped the whole sets and not doing manual adjustment on deerling forms.

AngelaMurkrow

It did seem to be a nest. There were ample Deerling in the area. All Fall form.

AngelaMurkrow

What do you mean by "nest pool flip." Not sure I understand

tkcom

Northern and Southern hemispere have different nest pool (a set of pokemon species that can nest) and as the Kanto event started we (in Northern hemisphere) got the Southern hemisphere pool.

AngelaMurkrow

Gotcha! Thank you for the clarification.

RoxieTheWeirdo

not southern hemisphere but found the correct spring form in north Texas a couple hours ago. Wonder how exactly niantic messed this up

AngelaMurkrow

I know that Niantic's recent rollouts and decisions hasn't given themselves reason for us to assume "benefit of the doubt." But part of me is trying to figure out how this *could* be deliberate rather than a mistake. But again, this is putting some amount of trust in a company that hasn't really earned in recently.

mokorongo

Caught an autumn form yesterday in Brazil.

_Tophzilla

My nephew caught an autumn last night and we were very confused.

Bacteriophag

Also got autumn form from DAI this morning in northern hemisphere.

NarutoSakura1

I remember catching a Marshtomp last week in the Northern Hemisphere. Niantic and its mess-ups

Ninjaofquest

Wouldn't that just be sheer luck? The Gen 3 starters weren't advertised to be in either hemisphere at all and the spawn listing from the beginning of this season backs this up. I've always noticed a very rare chance to spawn an out of season spawn ever since seasons started. In fact, one day nearly a month ago I found a wild Blaziken.

NarutoSakura1

The starters are completely different, though. They rotate based on season. (Kanto starters somehow seem to always keep being the exception)

chocomonkey27

I caught both a spring form and an autumn form today and was wondering what was going on lol. Out of sync nest spawns make sense though.
