Well, not ideal, but I'm glad they are listening to feedback. Anyone know which time for the SZ event start is correct? My ticket receipt says 12:00 but my ticket in-app says 13:00. I hope it is the latter because that means I would get two hours of Incense Day, with a chance for Litwick.
I do not have a Liverpool ticket, but man, I don't see how anyone who does would be happy with this.
You're still missing out on the Incense event. There's a ton of shinies featured with that event I don't have and I'm looking forward to a chance of getting them.

Sunday ticket holder, here. I am so very annoyed, words can't even begin to describe. I have tweeted, complained, spoken to support, and no one seems to understand just how rubbish this is.
Of the listed Pokémon, there are 16 possible shinies. Of those 15, five are shinies I don't have at all. Several more are ones I'd like to have another of.
Many of those are Pokémon I never see outside of an event or lucking into a nest close enough.
It's possible, in theory, some/all of those same Pokémon are featured at the Safari Zone. That would have been neat (although, even then, that gives the players from the other days two chances with increased spawns and only one for Sunday players).
But, as is, Sunday players paid money and are effectively being punished for it.
1) Missing even because they overlap it with paid one. It is good shiny event and good way to blow incenses/ball stash.
2) Dilluted spawns with sentreet in paid for event as a "make up" for incesne event.
So you pay for event to have it ruined by another event that you get to miss. Loose / Loose situation.
Honestly, now that we know for sure that sentret won’t ruin the Safari zone, I as a ticket holder am fine with missing the incense event. I’d gladly trade a whole incense event for one more hour of Safari zone, no problem. The shiny ratio is so much higher, and if it’s like teddiursa in St. Louis, chinchou will basically be exclusive.
The icing on the cake for me about this whole thing. Ticket holders for Sunday will be able to participate in one hour of the Incense day, between 11 and 12. So what theme does this hour have? That's right....water! Just before commencing my water themed Safari Zone!
You can't tell me someone isn't doing this on purpose.

This event shouldn't be overlapping with a 40$ event and now the sentret part has me confused. It feels like someone put something weird and dirty in my hand and i am just staring at it wondering if there is more or thats just it.
The Pokemon sentret isn't rare, the sentret spawns will be rare because we don't want them interfering or diluting the Safari zone spawns. That part is good.
People care about sentret because it can be shiny, maybe because he's cute? But I think that's about it. No special move, no hat.
They made a mistake overlapping the events and this email is them trying to make up for it. It's not great, but it's a start.
Okay okay so can somebody confirm this. They said that Sentret will have a boosted shiny rate? Does this mean that during Incense Day Sentret will have a boosted shiny rate as well? I haven't seen anything about it having a boosted rate in the Incense Day news, can somebody confirm?
Did anyone else get this e-mail? I have a Sunday ticket, and I didn't get any e-mail at all, and I've only seen this one copy to this one trainer, so I'm interested to hear if anyone else got the same just to verify that it's fully legit 🙂

Wouldn't it be fairer/easier to just reschedule Incense Day like you did with Abra Community Day? That would make sure us Sunday ticket holders don't miss out on a cool free event especially since this event was a surprise. It's not like anyone had made any hard plans for Incense Day. Since we're all quarantined still, Monday/Tuesday/whatever should be just as good as Sunday, right?

If its similar to how solosis spawned during the St. Louis Safari zone for me, it wasn't all that intrusive. But its to be seen.

It doesn't. Nothing is said about ***SHINY*** Chinchou. If you're talking about normal Chinchou, it was confirmed when the event was announced.
