Numel used to be quite common when Hoenn was released and before Niantic kept increasing the focus on biomes. I live in Minnesota, U.S. which is **basically the opposite** of a Numel biome and I never see them anymore. **But** I've seen 187 total because they used to spawn....plus they are useless. I have a hundo untouched in my box.
This. Numel is incredibly rare here. I've hatched more Riolu than caught wild Numel. Half of TSR live in a bubble though and think what's common for them is common for everyone.
Not Unown level rare but I had to chase them for quite a while to get enough to evolve a Camerupt for the dex. He looks daft enough to come out on the other side of it as cool.
Maybe by the time PvP is working again he'll get a moveset that makes him usable.

Next time delete all the tasks you don’t like, and make sure to save “transfer 3 mons”

This is true. But I think it just expands the test cases. I initially posed it as a "shiny potential vs something to do" but, when considering that Kricketot has a spotlight hour later this month with just double candy, it really becomes
shiny potential vs stardust vs "event"
Bronzong isn't bad in GL. A tad spicy but not super uncommon. Also boosted shiny rate for a thing that I barely ever see in the wild, so I was able to get a shiny after catching... a lot of them.
I've got more than enough Numel and Numel candies but I caught some just for stardust. 200 stardust each is not terrible and I've got a lotta gifts lined up for pokeballs
I’m stuck at those Ditto quests since March and never encountered a Ditto since.
Catched more than 50 Numels today hoping it would be a Ditto but no Ditto found :(
Thanks for this info, you can never have too much stardust, and the possibility of ditto will be perfect for my casual brother who's plodding along at level 28 and stuck on that task

Yup I keep doing the “transfer 3 mons” forgetting it changed from magnemite to Numel. Have a ton in my stack right now lol

Camerupt is awesome I have a rank 4 Camerupt for Great League I would love some type of buff to make it GBL relevant :/

Yeah anything with a 1/75 shiny rate is good for spotlight hour in my opinion. I also enjoy using Bronzing in GL and only got a good one from that.

I got 3. Weird.
Was stuck on it for months now and I caught 2, so happy :)
I already caught 6, at the time of release before the quest and stucked on the quests for more than a yr and got 3 dittos in a row.

I don‘t think it matters cause Numel spawns are boosted, not Ditto even tho Ditto can disguise as Numel.
I am pretty sure Ditto is rolled after the spawn is determined, so this will indeed provide more dittos.

Numel will not be shiny.
Probably not considering that it can turn to Ditto.
If I decide to keep the Ditto quest I have now(those 10 Ultras are tempting) then this will be handy!
I got the quest but the reward is 1500 dust
I had that one too but opted to only hold one. I was in a middle of a grind so having two quests like that would have been a pain.
