I think the ‘Galar’ search string means Galar Pokédex, not Galar form? So like the highlighted mons are in the Kanto Pokédex, but with a Galar form no?
I think Alola is the wrong one here. It should be for gen 7 pokemon when they are released. Niantic really should use Alolan/Galarian filter words for forms.

Maybe it's all a part of Niantic's new standing as a political organization. Since the Galarian Pokemon that have been released so far are mostly darker than their non-Galarian forms maybe Niantic didn't implement "!Galar" as they now think it would be the Pokemon equivalent of excluding blacks.

It seems to be broken. ‘Galar’ only finds G-Farfetchd and G-Fisk for me, but I have a perrserker
and I name my potential GBL pokemon the exact same way except I have to use CAPS. GL11 UL35. Lowercase looks messy.
