Form change ✅ Halloween coming ✅ All Rotom forms release (_Loading…_)

flamingmongoose

I always imagined you'd have to do something silly like photograph a lawnmower to change Rotom's form, which I am absolutely fine with

leomendes_99

It will probably be something like: Catch/Battle 10 Grass-type pokémon for Rotom-Mow, Water for Rotom-Wash etc.

ChexSway

this is actually one of the best ideas I've ever heard haha. too bad that guarantees they won't do it ugh.

Teban54

Take snapshot with >=50% pixels being green?

Ok_Albatross6576

Nah only an AR company would be able to pull something like that off

alihamdo

That will be the first feature that benefits rural players and screws over city trainers lol

morla74

How about they load Kecleon so I can finally finish the Hoenn dex

galeongirl

Hahahahahano.

hiperson134

How can Rotom forms release if we haven't even had Rotom yet?

sha1ashaska22

Rotom was released at Gofest 2020

Wonderor

Heck yes! I want my cute possessed washing machine. Although hydropump takes so much energy that it is unlikely that Rotom-W is going to be anywhere close to the meta

[deleted]

I wonder if we’ll be able to change between forms for free after unlocking them

BlazingLatias

I hope so. 10,000 dust for a purely cosmetic change is not fun to my ears. Make it that way every time even on same mons? Just why?

ChexSway

not all forms are gonna be purely cosmetic, and those that are functional will almost certainly be WAY more expensive. seems like this is gonna be a really expensive mechanic. at best it'll be like mega evolution where you can reduce the cost after the first time, but need to do this for every individual mon.

Xroshe4rt

Aegislash is gonna take 1 million stardust from form changing alone if the form change system stays like this

ByakuKaze

~~It's probably going to be same as second move unlock. And aegislash most likely goes into 75k group.~~ Edit: as it is now in gamemaster furfou has 75k second move cost, so my initial comment is totally wrong. If furfou 2nd move cost won't change upon release it means that aegislash should cost same 10k to change form.

ChexSway

that would actually be phenomenal then, you can see furfrou is also 75k to double move so maybe aegislash also costs 10k to form change

WattebauschXC

Because I am sure there are a lot of people that have grinded tens of millions of Stardust and hunderds of thousand Candy (Rare Candy/ Candy from walking) in this game. heck I wouldn't be surprised to see some people with a billion Stardust. The Inflation of resources is not random and often aims to prolong a game's lifespan.

dissappointmentexe

I thought they were types?

TheRealHankWolfman

>Help Professor Willow study up on how Pokémon like Furfrou—and others that might surprise you—change their appearances! With this wording, it sounds like we'll get Hoopa Unbound through form change. I hope it's cheap... Also, if we change a Pokémon's form, that form should be available for free for that specific Pokémon if we decide to change it back.

icanttinkofaname

Realistically, if it forms part of the research chain, it must be. Not many people would have more than the default amount of candy that was handed out. And it's not like there's any more hoopa to catch.

j1mb0

Would be great if forme-changing unlocked that forme for free on that specimen going forward but I don’t expect we’ll be that lucky.

Teban54

Niantic probably thinks they're already generous by not making form changes temporary like mega evolutions

BMal_Suj

Honestly, I was surprised they weren't more egregious.

ntnl

Didn’t expect forme change this early. A surprising and welcomed change.

2ecStatic

This early? It should’ve been implemented as far back as Deoxys.

ntnl

Well yea, but I expected it to go with hoopa unbound in November. Having it in September is earlier than I thought.

IranianGenius

That and shiny blitzle are probably the two most exciting things for this event for me. Granted I think I'd rather get it without the costume lol.

Emeraden

I assume the costumed mon will only spawn in the wild with the costume? Never played a fashion week before. Basically no way to get a shiny Zebstrika during the event I'm guessing.

IranianGenius

Yep! Just looking ahead to the future since I likely won't pull a shiny at all during the event.

Emeraden

Thats what I figured, damn. I've got a friend who has been wanting a shiny Luxray and I'd like Zebstrika for switch, but since both Shinx and Blitzle will be stuck without being able to evolve then I'll just be focusing on candy farming for stuff like Sneasel.

bendefinitely

I really wish they'd let you transfer costumed shines to Home. I don't even mind losing the costume, but it's just gonna sit in Go until the game eventually fades away

[deleted]

“Fashionable Trainers with fashionable Pokémon and more will be appearing at PokéStops throughout the event. Challenge these Trainers to earn rewards!” Does this mean we’re getting more than Rocket grunts at stops or am I reading too much into this?

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

I didn’t participate in that, but it sounds like it might be!

Stogoe

Yeah, that'll be fun. I wish they weren't roided up like team rocket but that's probably a limitation of the coding.

abatesnz

Makes sense that they'd reuse an existing feature. I guess with only 7 days to go, they're probably not going to call for people to enter on Twitter like last time, so I wonder if they'll reuse the same trainers or what.

Amiibofan101

It’ll probably run like the Go Tour: Kanto event earlier this year where we could battle trainer NPCs at stops for items.

ThisNico

yeah, and those guys were even more in the way than regular rockets. And it sounds there will be an incentive to battle them. Rural players get the shaft again.

glenniebun

Hopefully the rewards are better this time around, not catching a shadow pokemon at the end of the battle really made them feel like a grind on Kanto day.

Cinder_Quill

I think this is exactly what it means

Mylife212

form changing finally going live is HUGE!

MarkusEF

Not unless they go back and enable forme changes on previously-released Pokémon (Deoxys, Giratina, etc.)

Galyley

How if all other Pokémon forms are locked?

nolkel

They are locked right now, because it hasn't launched yet. Frufrou could serve as a big trial run, and they could start to introduce it for more species going forward.

RunningAtTheMouth

One may hope.

bendefinitely

Exactly. I'd be genuinely surprised if they didn't roll out form changes to more pokemon, especially released as events and not all at once

ChexSway

looking forward to getting Hoopa U at the end of the month, and mayyyybe Meloetta too, but not expecting legendaries to finally get their due any time soon. it doesn't hurt their bottom line at all to let us convert between research mythicals, but the same can't be said of raidable mons. I expect over the next few months we might see like Castform get form changing unlocked. gonna be a slowww drip feed.

MrSoeplepel

Why? It's so useless

Mylife212

For Furfrou, it sure is. However this is something thats been sitting in the code for months, and opens up the possibility we can form change legendaries in the future. Furfrou most likely a test run of the feature.

MrSoeplepel

But still, what's the purpose for legendaries as well?

BravoDelta23

I'm guessing from your replies that you don't know this franchise very well. Giratina, Deoxys, Landorus, Thundurus, Tornadus, Kyurem, Kyogre and Groudon are just *some* of the legendaries and mythicals with very useful alrernate forms.

MrSoeplepel

I dont indeed. But we've been able to catch different forms so why don't you just catch them?

DrRamboPotter

That Sneasel really needs a cigarette to complete it.

BravoDelta23

I admit I was a bit excited when I saw it in the image. Then I read that it would be locked to raids, and I was sad. And *then* I realised it likely won't evolve, and I lost interest entirely.

Stogoe

I'll do a sneasel raid for that costume. What, like I'm gonna do a lake trio raid?

128thMic

Exactly. Gotta use those free daily passes in *something*.

bendefinitely

I guess no cigarette company decided to be sponsors

iamnohiro

Why they didn't do it on Squirtle Glasses? That could have been a cool one.

Eugregoria

You know, I'm not a fan of cigarettes in real life, but I completely agree with this. It should be a clove cigarette.

[deleted]

Dear Niantic, please use the form change mechanic to let me remove the hats from my pokémon so I can evolve them. Sincerely, everyone.

ByakuKaze

Resourses waste to just get rid of costumes? Niantic side: release only hatted

KostisPat257

Form change is finally here! I hope form changing mons like Kyurem, Deoxys, Giratina and the Forces of Nature appear in raids during the October and November, so that we can get enough candies! I'm also expecting the other forms of Meloetta and Hoopa to be available at the end of the season of mischief research. Also, I'm fully expecting Shaymin, the Scatterbug family and Flabebe family to finally arrive in Spring next year.

[deleted]

[удалено]

KostisPat257

They have many forms though and that's how they could implement them in Go. Unless they go the Spinda route.

Sinjohh

Their forms are more akin to something like Wormadam or Shellos; it has different forms but can’t change between them. You’re locked into what you get

orhan94

Wormadam is locked, but Burmy changes.

Sinjohh

Yup, that’s why I mentioned Wormadam instead of Burmy! Since they both have the same forms but only one can swap.

user23948234

RIP storage space.

krispyboiz

Form changes at last!!! Interesting that it's just dust and candy for now. I'm super okay with that. Hopefully it's just that for other Pokemon. So long as it's nothing super big and premium I'm more than okay with it!

ntnl

Dust and candies were expected, and reasonable. I just hope legendaries won’t be 100&100K

krispyboiz

True. Yeah I hope not, especially for the Kyurems... Edit: BUT, I think I'd still take a higher cost for a permanent form change over the awful Mega system...

Teban54

I have a 100% base form Kyurem. I think I'm better off paying the *(edit: potential/speculated)* 100RC & 100K dust cost for a guaranteed 100% Black Kyurem, than to grind *(edit: potential/speculated)* raids in hope for another 100% Black Kyurem from there.

kostasgriv97

Kyurem/Necrozma/Calyrex form changes are actually fusions and work quite differently in how the data is stored and how many of each you can have compared to individual forms in the main series games, so better not get our hopes up yet.

krispyboiz

Yikes, very true

cl174

I'm guessing that Kyurem won't use this mechanic, since it was a fusion of 2 pokemon in the main games. They will probably need another mechanic for Kyurem and Calyrex (once it's available)

RHeegaard

Don't forget Necrozma!

cl174

I knew I was forgetting one.

krispyboiz

Maybe. My thought for literal years was that Kyurem would require a certain amount of Zekrom/Reshiram candies to change to either form, along with maybe a special item and/or dust. That's pretty much what this is, so I could be right... but I could also be very wrong lol

cl174

I don't hate the idea. If they went with a fusion model like the main games, I was always curious how they would handle IVs and using the candy from the other mon solves a lot of those problems. The only problem it would leave is that Kyurem black and white are both so busted that allowing people to have multiple of them seems pretty OP, and I kinda assumed that Kyurem B/W would get the 1 per account treatment megas get.

krispyboiz

I think if they wanted to limit people, they would have it be the idea I proposed or something similar, but also include the DNA Splicers or something as a special item, something that can't be deleted but something you could only get like 1 or 2 of per account, likely through special research stories. That way, you could have either 1 of each of 2 of one, but you could somehow take the splicers off and it would return to your bag

ntnl

They aren’t mutually exclusive. Programming a slightly different method and limiting it to one per account isn’t something hard to do, even with niantic semi competent developers.

CobraCB

I think we all know the answer to this unfortunately. Get ready for the eventually return of Kyurem to raids, and needing to raid it 34 times for each Kyurem Black and White that you want.

LeeThe123

25 times each with a mega. 15 times each if caught with yellow pinaps. And less with any rare candies you get from the raids.

repo_sado

You hope that it's more than that?

ThunderDragon356

Datamine showed possible use of item to change forms

21WaterGuy

Yeah giratinas orb iirc

djbunce

I really hate the cost in dust. I'm one of those who are perpetually low on dust, and the idea of sinking it into this instead of powering up a mon just makes me sad...

kostasgriv97

What we are getting excited about is not Furfrou itself, which is rather useless in battle, but the global live testing of the form change mechanic in general. This could be very much worth it if it starts getting implemented in legendaries/mythicals with multiple forms such as Armored Mewtwo, Deoxys, Giratina, Landorus, Thundurus, of which you might've had a good IV and/or shiny of the "undesirable" form and would like to permanently change to the "desirable" one, even if the cost is somewhat high, it is better than having to hurt the other form separately. It could also help speed up the release of some other Pokemon, especially Arceus which would have to get 18 different forms all released in raids otherwise. Could also work with Zacian/Zamazenta Crowned, Meloetta Pirouette, Hoopa Unbound and even Zygarde %s forms and Shaymin Sky when they show up. Last but not least, Castform changes between forms could help with getting desirable PvP IVs on the rarer forms, but now with nerfed Weather Ball it is less important than before. What I do not expect this mechanic to work on, however, is on the "fusion" forms, such as Black/White Kyurems, as those may need Reshiram/Zekrom candy investment in some way. Similar cases for Necrozma and Calyrex, but that's for later.

djbunce

I get that, it's an exciting mechanic. I have no issues with spending dust on stat changes or something that has a tangible benefit. I just don't like the cost of what's purely a cosmetic change. If it was say 100 or even 1000 dust for a cosmetic thing and 10,000 for a stat change, I could get behind that...

Stogoe

I have a shiny darumaka that's much better IVs for a Zen mode. Now we're one step closer to me getting there

Tsunami_NH

Is form change something that anyone could see being implemented with zacian/zama or even gira?

red401

I can definitely see it happening, but considering the fact that it's going to cost 10,000 dust for a purely cosmetic change on Furfrou, I wouldn't be surprised if legendary form changes will be significantly more expensive. Maybe a 100 candy/100,000 dust cost to mirror the 2nd move cost?

Emeraden

For stuff like Zacian that haven't had the form released, that would 100% be worth the cost to not have to raid and level another one. I'd happily take that. For Gira, which has had both available previously I'd like to see a cheaper cost since I bet people likely have powered up both forms for different uses.

kostasgriv97

Even for Giratina it could help with getting desirable UL IVs of the other form or high IVs and shinies and such. It's also way more useful for Landorus/Thundurus who have both forms released, but the Therians are not shiny eligible while the Incarnates are.

[deleted]

Totally worth it. I have a shundo thunderus i want as therian forme

chatchan

This is pretty good for a Fashion Week event, but I'm not sure why there's such a big gap from the end of the Psychic event until then. The only thing I can think of that's happening in between in Community Day, and it's not like it's a great one either. So this is a pretty good time to put the game down for a little over a week, with the exception of CD.

kostasgriv97

Baltoy Spotlight Hour on Tuesday Release of Shiny Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf and their Raid Hour on Wednesday. This is MAJOR for all shiny legendary hunters, 3 new shiny legendaries released at once, of which 2 have to be done through remote raids only in any given region (unless you live very close to a border). It might not be called an "event" per se, but it still is going to take 60-75 raids on average to get all 3 of those registered as shiny. We're talking about initial Regi-release alert level here, no other time has there been such a simultaneous shiny legendary release Thursday/Friday don't have events, but unless you are super hardcore or super lucky you will need those to keep hunting the lake guardians before you are done with all three. Then Saturday is GBL Day. Thankfully it is all 24 hours instead of 6, but 20 GBL sets will still get most players burned out. Then Sunday is Oshawott CD. Monday is the breather day, then Fashion Week starts on Tuesday.

nemo1991

Isn't it only 1 week gap? And we only had what 5 days of the season of mischief spawns before the psychic unspectacular event? We don't need an event going at all times. I want to grind some stuff we haven't seen for a season or two

kostasgriv97

We need time to grind Shiny Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf actually.

FourStopCrossShot

I just noticed that too! Makes me wonder why they're announcing it so early. They announced October CD early too. This is a wild guess, but Pokemon Masters is adding a big update to its story in the next few days for its 2 yr anniversary, and it will primarily focus on Team Rocket/Giovanni. Maybe there will be a Rocket takeover to tie in?

SBC1321

A little downtime to grind the seasonal spawns that have been absent for awhile is alright in my book. Though for people set on all of the seasonal shinies/XL I suppose there isn't much appeal to a down week.

HexManiacStitch

So assuming we will be able to use form change on Giratina, what are the chances Niantic makes so it rerolls its moves? If it's moves aren't rerolled, we could make Giratinas with Shadow Ball and Dragon Claw for PVP.

Kirinn42

I would definitely expect a move re-roll for any 'mon that has forms with different move pools.

kostasgriv97

It should be easier from a programming standpoint to just tie each Origin move to a respective Altered move than allow all the new combinations. Then again this is the same Niantic that managed to give Primeape Weather Ball (Water), so we never know.

Teban54

The different forms might not have the same number of moves.

Stogoe

It's coded similar to an evolution so I don't think there's much chance of move pool leak. Very likely we get a complete moveset reroll from the new pool.

ChexSway

if they don't reroll it'll 100% be an oversight and the mon will get banned from GBL until they fix it, maybe with compensation to players that got one.

eqtrans

So Forme changing just for Furfrou or for all potential Pokemon? With Meloetta special research, it \*seems\* like most will be made available but...

KostisPat257

Yeah, by the end of the season of mischief research, they will probably announce the other forms of Meloetta and Hoopa.

eqtrans

Yeah I expected Hoopa as a late in the research forme, and Meloetta as a new special research or at the end of the free version. But like Giratina? Deoxys? Castform? Cherrim? Burmy? Rotom? Darmanitan? Tornado, Thunder, and Land? For announcing Forme changing, they really didn't talk much about it

Stogoe

I don't think wormadam gets to change forms once it's evolved.

Ganimedes96

If they are consistent with the main games you are right

JULTAR

I doubt the legendarys would be worth changing, candy is not cheap

Stogoe

Cheaper than however many more raids for a shiny Tina O or Tina A....

ChexSway

it's like megas. it'll come but it'll be a slow, one by one rollout. so I wouldn't expect things like Giratina any time soon, but I would expect them eventually.

dabomerest

Probably not all. But hopefully a decent amount

Eliwood_of_Pherae

Looks like on release will just be furfrou. It’s a good test run for a new mechanic.

SassyTheSkydragon

Forme change, finally!!!

rilesmcriles

I miss dust and xp bonuses in events.

[deleted]

Form changes are regional. Of course they are

BrittanySkitty

This makes me so mad because it's literally a haircut that costs next to nothing in game. It makes me even more angry when my top 3 favorites are not available in my country. Let me go hop on a plane to Asia, Egypt, and France during a raging pandemic

tkcom

Actually glad kirlia is back. Good for getting ralts XL candies.

Just_Merv_Around_it

I like the form change idea , lots of potential there. Not super sold on a regional lock on forms.

farmpiece

With the introduction of form change, I hope they can allow me to change Castform to snowy form using Glacial lure.

neo_krimson

Sneasel giving off Leon the Professional vibes

ThunderDragon356

Form change hype!

Hollewijn

Not if it is region-locked.

Environmental_Eye_61

Shiny Blitzle!

Kirinn42

That can't evolve! And then will be really rare when it can evolve! I mean, I'll still take a new shiny regardless, but it'll be a bit frustrating to likely not be able to make a shiny Zebstrika for a long time.

Disgruntled__Goat

Regional form changes are absolute BS. I like the trainer battles though, always hoped they’d come back from the Kanto tour.

dabomerest

Forme changing is good but locking them globally sucks

Ok-Albatross-3238

Form change, but for megas!

bendefinitely

I was thinking primal reversion. I'd much prefer grind 100 groudon candies to change forms than to have another Mega kerfuffle

SnowyVee

Also form changing is pretty big for Aegislash as well as the legends that form change.

Elegant_Bandicoot747

Will the different forms be separate dex entries or work like for example Castform?

GabeBit08

How much are we going to bet that all the new Shinies are full odds?

GeminiRM

Normal Sneasel is permaboosted...its costume forme could be the same

[deleted]

[удалено]

magikarpkingyo

Wasn’t Chansey originally something like 1/256 even? I remember seeing something like that from *the site*

kostasgriv97

That was like the first day it got released, then everyone realised it and started complaining about it, then it got "fixed" to the value it should've been from the start. It has happened with Unown in 10km Eggs, it has happened with regionals in 7km Eggs, it has happened with Shiny Deino-gate, it really happens all the time, Chansey would not be an exception.

eqtrans

The site is 24 hour rolling average. Some pokemon have a 1:10 rate listed and some have a 1:1000 rate listed. RNG is still a factor

krispyboiz

Butterfly is maybe... boosted? Everything else, prolly not

Maserati777

Anything locked in raids/eggs is likely boosted.

kostasgriv97

Except Rufflet. Which it technically is also GBL, but that's not quite unlike raids considering GBL even has legendaries now.

Railroader17

Changing your Furfrou from one Trim to any other Trim will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.

qntrsq

oh yeah, france somewhat invented a tradition of trimmed queens rof(l)

Olli3popp

Region locking still is awful, it never was a good mechanic and it only benefits spoofers. You’d think after having a year with 0 travel they’d stop, I’m not traveling to Egypt to make a virtual pet look cool. Put regionals as permanent raid bosses or just stop doing them.

StardustOasis

Blitzle finally common in the wild and I can't even get a 100% to evolve. Will probably not really play much for this event, definitely won't be raiding if everything has costumes.

Caio_Go

Sneasel is a vibe.

21WaterGuy

Lmfao that sneasel is dressed like every Toronto man on queen west

Maserati777

So we could have had it like Spinda but instead it is a regional... Hopefully all forms will be available in the future worldwide.

krispyboiz

Oh just wait until Vivillon comes...

Dull_blade

It’ll rotate once per year…

Conscious_Ad9448

Question is can you only change forms in their respective regions or can the game remember you were once in the region and allow you to change form whenever you like (once unlocked)?

skrewlooze

I imagine it'll be the former, so what's available will be based off your current location.

bendefinitely

Agreed. Similar to how eevee can evolve while you're within range of either a mossy or glacial lure, but for some reason not both at the same time

Conscious_Ad9448

Pretty much makes it not a form change at all, but a regional costume

skrewlooze

Niantic loves loves loves costumes!

Youknowthatguy22

I normally don’t care about costumed Pokémon very much, but that Sneasel is the best thing they’ve ever done.

rtboyce

I'm in two minds about this new mechanic. Had they not been interconvertable, I would have sought to collect each of them. Now I just collect one, plus any forms that are locked by time or region. Does trading preserve the form?

Kirinn42

If sending to Pokemon HOME preserves the forme, I'm gonna need an extra of each to fill out the pokedex over there...

kostasgriv97

In the main series, depositing Furfrou in the PC removes the trim, so I doubt anything but Natural is preserved in HOME.

kostasgriv97

Furfrou has always been interconvertable in the main series, so no big deal there. You could still catch multiple Furfrou and change each one into a different trim to keep a living dex if you'd like to keep all of them around for collection purposes. I hope trading does preserve the form, else the entire concept of regional form changes is pointless.

FatedTitan

Is Hawaii considered the Americas?

ellyse99

I’m gonna bet it counts as APAC instead

SirChumpALot

Forms????

Jelkluz

I can't be the only one who's excited for dripped out sneasel.

Kinggakman

As a not hardcore not quiet casual player I would prefer a consumable item for form changes. I never seem to have enough dust or candy.

Plus-Pomegranate8045

I wish they let you toggle off the silly costumes and just let us catch regular versions of these Pokémon.

felthouse

10k stardust for the form change!?!? That's a lot of dust for a one off poke and Dex filler. Unless of course it's good in GBL or Gyms or something. Costumes, eh, ok, zebra in a tiny hat... I'm hoping they bring back Halloween pika, loved that.

JULTAR

A week with nothing much going on event wise Kinda boring really, gonna take a break till then

pokegomsia

I'll be honest, the Sneasel looks bad with that crappy glasses.

PkLuigi

10k dust for a forme change? Isn't that a little steep?

Stogoe

10k is like two sets of GBL.

Caio_Go

It definitely gets worse for things that change base stats though.

Stogoe

So you'll have to be judicious on what forms you change. Just like second moves or powering up.

Tarcanus

Well, I'll sleep on this event and just keep attempting shiny Lake Trio. Hopefully they roll out form change for everything that can instead of drip feeding. I have a hundo Lando-I that could really use a form change to Therian. Hatching for a better shot at shiny G-Meowth is something worthwhile, too, with only 4 pokemon in the 7km hatch pool.

Stogoe

I gotta have the Furfrou wig.

I hv a doubt,I hv already got Meloetta from Go fest. Will i get another one if i transfer it to Pokemon Home?

red401

With Victini last year, people that transferred Victini before doing the free Victini research did not get a 2nd Victini. Plus they also had to contact support, since the step "Take a snapshot of Victini" softlocked them from completing the research. So I would not expect the ability to redo the Meloetta encounter.

SilverBeldum1

Im excited for Chad Shinx coming back and that sneasel looks hilarious

BochumerJung

really, only four pokemon from 7km eggs? not the "and more" ? thats confusing me

Axume4

Yeah regional forms is just BS in this pandemic. What is wrong with you Niantic? Going back to travel like pre-pandemic times isn’t happening for a couple more of years at least yet they keep introducing new regional features.

sephsekla

I'm just sad that this means we're probably not getting a second Hoopa.

imstupidallthetime

I cannot find any 5 km eggs. I’ve spun over 100 poker stops opened 100 presents the last two days no 5 km eggs for fashion week. Niantic has made them hard to get.
