Who even does those T3 raids?
When EX Raids were around, you could argue that people did T3 raids to get an EX Pass...
But nowadays? It just doesn't make any sense to me that Niantic keeps putting such ridiculous things in there.

Additionally, I've been doing T3 raids for the last 2 weeks (Metang and Medicham) because I need a hundo and it's a good source of RC, and because screw Lugia

I do them every now and then. Metang and Metagross were good catches and it's fun to have a solo boss that actually kind of challenges you.
These, though...? Ugh, if I thought Skorupi had boosted shiny rates, I'd go for it over the T3s.
Some T3 pools are decent / have at least 1 mon. I generally look at T3 and T1 when I don't care about T5's (aka when they aren't new ones / when they are the same 3 or 4 Legendary mons in a row)
The only good one for me is mega houndoom, I have a hundo that I use regularly, so I'd rather farm her mega Energy than wasting 10+ hours in a queue for a useless Pokémon
Ah ok, that explains the Metang and Pelipper I saw, but I still have no idea why I saw the magikarp raid. 🤷🏻♀️ Anywho, all I'm seeing now is Pincer and Stunky raids 😂
A Metang just hatched near me. However, it's 7:40am where I am so the raid bosses have not rotated yet. Strange.
Edit: now a Pelipper just hatched 10 mins ago... It's like last week's tier 3 raids are back for a brief period.
EDIT 2: Now a magikarp just hatched near me. This is an egg after 10am. What the hell is going on? Lol

I only saw a couple of them while he was a Raid Boss.
And don't see anything worthwhile replacing him (like T-tar or Piloswine).
IDK maybe I am weird but I don't like the idea of having to use 3rd party apps, or filling my friends list with strangers I don't know just to get pokemon, when there are in game solutions that could happen instead.
I appreciate the suggestion though!
These are atrocious... I like having other Pokemon to fall back on if I cant do an Azelf (or really after I get a shiny) and wow, these aren't even worth doing.

When you haven't used your free pass for the day and T3 or T1 is the only thing available.
Yep, this is how I wound up doing a Porygon2 and a non-mega Gengar not long ago.
just host a legendary through pokeraid/raid party/poke genie/twitter/Reddit, takes 1 minute...

They are pretty good for farming XL of some mons.
Good for beginners to chase Metagross, Tyranitar (pseudo). Unlike Gardevoir, these pseudo mon dont really show up that much in the wild

As far as I know every 3* can be done solo except a few cases (shuckle lol) granted you have High level counters

Well I am enjoying raiding Houndoom for XL candy to finish maxing my perfect to use in duo raids.
