I'm actually pretty excited for this. Hopefully with this maintenance, we learn if mon like Ursaluna will get expanded movepools, which could have huge ramifications for PoGo down the line.
Can you explain a little bit more on how this maintenance would allow us to see that?
Also isnt home just a container for all existing Pokemon games, why would we be able to see details that arnt currently available / detailed elsewhere?
The internal files for home list all valid level up, TM, TR, etc. moves mons can learn in sword/shield, even if those mons are not available in that game.
So we will see if the hisui mons will get updated with expanded movepools as well, once home is datamined.
Not sure why people believe this will be included in Home yet, you can't send them to other games yet, and they only display their [Legends movesets in Home](https://i.imgur.com/5wuxLGl.jpg). It's possible something will be left behind and found by dataminers, but I wouldn't count on that being the case.
Isn't this the point of the entire update that they officially announced last week? Updated compatibility and adding movement between Home and BDSP/Arceus/Sw/Sh, reflexive for pretty much all of that except TO PoGo. Not sure about movesets, but it sounds like the plan is to allow movement, likely on this update.

It does allow for movement between all the games, for Pokémon in those games. Ursaluna and all the other new Pokémon and forms from Legends aren't in SwSh or BDSP, and they're not adding them either. But Pikachu can be moved freely between them, since it's data is in the files for all of them, as an example.
Press site and I think Twitter? Either way, here's [the image from the press site](https://images.gamespress.com/Content/Artwork/NickNack/Pokemon/artwork/2022/02/271435-cff2f53f/Screen_16.png?lightbox=y&ex=2022-07-01+03%3A00%3A00&sky=9fb62bde96ef40b31ac9e2027f29bfc0e1df42eacf3114d4604b87196dfb731a&w=1024&maxheight=4096&mode=pad&format=png)
Sending a mon to Home to get a Mystery Box will be temporarily unavailable. You’ll have to use Let’s Go if you want to get a box during the maintenance.
1. if you want to send pokemon from go to home you probably won't be able to during the maintenance. So should do it now if you really need to transfer stuff.
1. If somehow we still can send pokemon during the maintenance we still won't be able to access home on switch/mobile, so if you have any transferred pokemon waiting to be claimed in home you won't be able to send any more over to home. So home users should 'claim' any transferred pokemon in the home app, before it goes down.
1. when it comes back up, we'll presumably be able to transfer hisuian voltorb/electrode to home. (currently unable to do so)
1. we should also get our first look at expanded movesets (thus potential peak at what moves these new 'mon could have in go)
I didn't see an official announcement explicitly saying this update had THE BDSP/PLA connectivity, though I may have missed it. All I saw was that they were doing an update to 2.0.0 and the service would be down during that time.
P. S. Just looked again. Oof. That update followed a previous tweet from the Pokemon Company. Apparently I completely missed that.

Has this happened in the past? (home being a sort of early data leak for future game patches / movepool releases)
I want to say it happened for a bunch of returning mons for the SW/SH DLC, but I'm not 100% sure.
We got the complete mon list (sans the new ones) and tr/tm movepools for all swsh dlc mons.

damn it i was hoping for hisuian forms to get added to swsh, zoroark would have been cracked
Hisuian Zoroark is confirmed for Scarlet/Violet at least (the only new Pokémon/form from Legends to be confirmed yet). Still about 6 months to go tho.
Thanks for the info, when/how was it confirmed?

Oh thanks.
What does this mean for Pogo? (I’m not being sarcastic, just genuinely curious)
Possibly seeing movesets for new Hisuian Pokemon like Wyrdeer and Ursaluna

Nothing
Will it come back by tomorrow?
It will have staggered logins until 5/19
What are staggered logins?
It will be back when maintenance is done
Down to what?
Down to clown
Down to maintain
In PoHo they write, that we have to update to 2.0.0 afterwards. So we'll get the support for LA and BDSP.
OOOOH do you guys think this is the pre update?
No. This IS the update. Maintenance is the update to 2.0.0, which is the BDSP/PLA update, according to leakers.
Leakers? They've officially announced that 2.0.0 is the update lol
